I arrived for a no heat new system call. I first spoke with the homeowner and they told me that the system will not run and it’s flashing P6. P6 is a fault code of low pressure at the condenser. I inspect the system and found it to be running low on refrigerant. The homeowner stated that this system has leaked its refrigerant out once before. And that the time frame from the install to the first leak was 8-9 months and from the last time I leak checked the condenser to now was 8-9 months. I tried to preform a leak search at this time but the homeowner would not grant me access to two of the indoor systems. I charged the system at this time to get the homeowner heat. They also spray foamed one system and it’s almost stuck in place. I want to bring two techs out to help pull all systems off the wall and pressure test the system and check all indoor systems.
