19MAR2024 Jason Brown Arrived for recently out no heat. Spoke with the homeowners about the systems performance. It’s been intermittently working we had a friend first then you guys out to look at it, they didn’t find anything and we didn’t run it for about a week after he left. However we tried to use it and it’s not doing anything. If you cycle the fan it comes on, and the AC has worked. Homeowner showed me to the attic and opened the straits for me. When I saw the equipment I immediately noticed the drain line disconnected from the evap coil, and the pan full of water. Furnace is sitting on 2x4s and above water level. Cycled heating at the thermostat. Found humming coming from equipment and board only delivering 68v to the inducer motor. Disconnected power to equipment and inspected board. Found inducer pins discolored and damaged. While looking at the equipment I noticed the ductwork is undersized for this system. Spoke with homeowner about my findings. We decided to think about th
