Came out for duct cleaning inspection for a system we installed, including ductwork, in 2013. Customers main issue was water dripping from vents. Went in attic and found top of supply plenum with some condensation on it. Looked for a roof leak and found none. Looked inside plenum and it has had a haeavy amount of moisture buildup. Checked and confirmed condensate pump is working. Micro power guard and condenser coil both are dirty and need to be cleaned. With customer permission performed a system tune up and started by checking refrigerant charge. System reading 15 degrees delta t and 18 degrees of subcooling. System calls for 10 degrees with a 3 degree range. Washed condenser thiroughly, as it had built up and packed in mud in the lower 5 inches of the coils. Also cleaned off micro power guard filter housing. Recommend cleaning outside coil once a year and micro power guard housing brush off once a month. Checked capacitors amps and volts after cleaning and drying system coils. Subc
