Performed 1 heat pump system maintenance. Replaced 1-18x20x1 filter. Damper for upstairs zone not working properly, found broken wire going to damper, was not getting low voltage power to close damper when needed. Fixed broken wire and system is now operating properly.
Warranty- thermostat was set to fan in the on position. Customer said it happened at our prior visit. Set fan to auto mode and cycled the thermostat to confirm proper function. I explained the thermostat fan settings to the customer.

I checked the charge. The capacitor and washed outdoor system. The System is running and operating like I supposed to. The upstairs damper motor is sticking close got it to open. Will need to return and replace it.

Upon arrival, found water spots in the master bedroom ceiling. In the attic, found water intrusion signs in the insulation above the water spots in the master bedroom ceiling. Found a roof vent directly above the water spots in the insulation. Inspected ductwork going back to the master bedroom and the duct is sealed and not leaking. Inspected the air handler and the air handler is showing no signs of leaking as well. The most likely cause of the leak is due to roof leakage.
Inspected furnace and found problematic gas line. Turned gas off and fixed gas line by installing a gas ball valve and sediment trap. Turned gas back on and tested system. Furnace system is operating properly at this time.
