Arrived at our clients home for AC not cooking properly. Client stated indoor unit was coming on but could not hear the outdoor condenser running. I proceeded outside and tested the electrical composer the outdoor unit. I did find the capacitor to be below manufacture specifications and showed this to Derek. I Proceeded into the attic and verified the unit was calling for cooling at the zone board, the zone control board was not sending the correct signal outside to the condenser unit. This could have been caused by a surge in power, I will be able to further test the equipment once the board is replaced. Our client elected to sign up for maintenance as well and will provide a card when job is complete for monthly maintenance charge. We left the unit running with the fan on to move air in the home but it is currently not cooling.
