Client had disassembled the mini split to clean and service it himself. He was having difficulty aligning the blower wheel back into place. It was stuck and rubbing against the frame of the unit. I was able to remove it and properly align it. I spun it before assembling to ensure it was no longer rubbing against the frame. I then assembled the unit for our client and Tested it to ensure proper operation. He could immediately feel better airflow and he is aware it may take several hours to cool down the space. He did brake a single blower fin on the wheel, and would like a warranty cost to replace the blower wheel. I will contact the manufacturer and get lead time as well as create an estimate for the repair to be completed. The unit is cooling properly on departure.
