Customer stated that the unit (#2), wasn’t working, that it was completely off that the thermostat was blank at a times,,, but it was doing this just on cooling mode. Started diagnostic at the thermostat, set it to cool, proceeded to inspect the indoor unit, verified proper voltage power signal to cool, noticed notification at the thermostat saying waiting for equipment,,, proceeded to inspect the outdoor unit, found a bad 2 pole contactor, brought this up to customer’s attention, decided to replace the part today, after replacement we verified proper system operation, found no more issues at this time.
