I returned to our clients home with concerns that the unit for her bedroom was not cooling properly. She showed me that the indoor unit was responsive and pushing air but it was not cold air. I immediately requested we go outside to the condenser units. I found one of the unit breakers to be left off and immediately after turning it on it began to run and cool the bedroom. We then discussed the leak that Cesar had found and we also discussed how the coil replacement was not going to rejuvenate the system or extend its life any longer than normal. We discussed how the thermal overload is a protective function of the compressor but it still produces a lot of ware and gate on the compressor motor. She is now aware of this and would still like to move forward with the repair tomorrow.
