Performed AC diagnostic on two system 2005 Goodman system. Upon my diagnostic client noticed about three months The system began blowing hot air and it was no longer cooling the downstairs temperature. During my diagnostic I performed a full evaluation and troubleshooting and found multiple points of concerns. Downstairs 3 ton- 1. Found that duel secondary motor control has become weak on hermetic and fan side terminal 2. Starter has significant pitting and burning on contact points which can lead to failure on start up 3. Compressor is using high amperage on start up and compressor saver kit should reduce power consumption and act as a steroid boost on start up 4. Condenser fan motor has oil leakage coming from bearing and can lead to premature failure if bearing locks up due to lack of lubrication. 5. System contains R22 refrigerant which was completely phased out on January 1, 2020. Discussed full condition of system with Tiffany and Richard And they understand how it is running and
