Jake K. I arrived for a new customer no cool call. I spoke with the home owner and found that the system is running but not cooling. I inspected the system and found the 19 year old auto have a condenser fan motor to have failed. I also found it to have a drop on refrigerant. I made this aware to the homeowner and explained that I can replace the condenser fan motor but I do not have the refrigerant to adjust or add to the system if it needs any. I then explained that even tho the repair of the motor can be done this might set them down a road of spending a costly amount of repairs on a 19 year old system vs looking for replacement with a 10 year warranty. We looked at financing options and what days we had open to replace.
