Inspect a/c system, checked indoor and outdoor unit. Furnace sits in the bedroom, coil box is made from plywood. Inspected heat exchanger, found signs of overheating but could not find and cracks or holes. Found very dirty filter restricting airflow, removed filter for duration of assessment. Coil and condenser were changed several years ago, condenser is too close to the house, unable to access disconnect. Capacitor outside is weak, unit is also slightly overcharged, there is lots of uv dye present in system. Unit is cooling, 17 degree temp drop, house dropped 4 degrees while I was doing assessment. Filter needs to be changed every few months and suggest regular maintenance. Put filter back in, must be changed. 16x24x4 filter size
