Pride Plumbing came out and installed a plastic plumbing access panel on a shower wall. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the two-handle bathtub/shower faucet valve. This would require us to replace the shower valve with a new Gerber model (along with short sections of its hot- and cold-water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings), shower head, and downspout diverter, and add new handles along with stems, washers, seats, and escutcheons.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking yard hydrant. When we arrived, the customer had already dug up around the hydrant and had purchased a new Pro Lumber model PPYH-2 frost proof hydrant. We removed the old hydrant and union and installed the new hydrant. Then we tested it for leaks with no issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and installed new electronic gas valves with MegaPress fittings on the gas supply lines running in the ceiling. We waited for the electrician to install new wiring, then we turned the gas on and tested for leaks and proper operation of the valves.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to install a gas valve (this would require us to 1) turn the gas off to the building and then cut into the gas line at an approved location; 2) install the proper MegaPress gas fittings onto the customer supplied gas valves and then connect them to the existing gas line; 3) after an electrician installs the wiring, we will turn the gas back on and test for gas leaks at both valve locations).
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a Mansfield toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.
Pride Plumbing was called out for issues with three toilets - two were clogged and wouldn't flush and one's tank and bowl wouldn't fill with water. For the two that wouldn't flush, we used a closet auger and cleared their blockages. For the one that wouldn't fill, we replaced it's toilet tank's water fill valve with a new Fluidmaster PRO45B model along with its above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line and it filled with water. We provided cost estimates to replace the toilets with new Gerber Viper models. This would include inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flanges, replacing the toilet bowls, toilet tanks, tank to bowl gaskets and bolts, seats, wax ring gaskets, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply lines.
Pride Plumbing was called to investigate the cause of a water stain on a downstairs ceiling. Our inspection found that one of the water lines going to an upstairs shower valve was leaking. We replaced both hot and cold copper water supply lines in the ceiling with new PEX piping and fittings and corrected the issue. We also provided a price quote to repipe and replace the water supply lines in the ceiling, going to the fixtures in the bathroom (sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn ball water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the house along with new above-floor stainless steel braided water supply lines).
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) removed and installed a new Moen Posi-Temp bathtub/shower faucet valve cartridge; 2) replaced a showerhead; and 3) replaced the seats and springs in a leaking bathroom sink faucet.
