Pride Plumbing was called out for varying water pressure from a well. Our inspection determined that the well's submersible pump was malfunctioning. We provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) pull the well's submersible pump and black roll piping; 2) install a new submersible pump, black roll piping, and wiring (with an attached torque arrestor and cable guards) and reinsert them down into the well; 3) replace the well's 30/50 pump switch, pressure gauge, nipple, and pressure tank and charge the tank; and 4) reseal the well using a heat shrink kit.

Pride Plumbing responded to a sewage backup in the building. After inspecting, we found the septic tank full. We called in our septic pumping truck, uncovered the septic tank, removed its lid, pumped it out, and cleaned the tank’s filter. Before resetting the lid and covering the tank back up, we cleared a blockage in the outside main sewer septic drain line going to the septic tank and then ensured proper drainage by flushing the toilets and running water down multiple drains for several minutes.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a Kohler toilet tank that would run constantly and not fill. Our inspection found that the toilet tank's flapper was deteriorated and would not seal off the tank which caused it to run constantly. We replaced the toilet tank's flapper with a new Lavelle 54BP black universal Korky model and tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, flapper, water fill valve, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. We dug down and found a leak on a section of the black roll outside main water supply line. We cut out the faulty section of pipe, repaired it with new PEX piping and fittings, and flushed debris out of the water line at an outside hose bib spigot. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from an existing water meter to the building and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.

We pulled the toilet, cleaned and inspected its flange, replaced its wax ring gasket (with a new Mainline ML11580 model), reset the toilet, replaced its toilet bowl bolts and caps and the toilet tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace a leaking kitchen sink faucet and sprayer with either a new Mainline, Olympia, or Delta model with a sprayer. This would include removing the old faucet, mounting the new faucet, attaching the sprayer, and replacing its hot and cold above-floor water supply lines underneath the sink with new braided stainless-steel ones along with replacing the hot and cold water stops.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a toilet bowl leaking at its base. Our tests and inspection did not find any leak coming from the toilet. However, there were a couple of issues with the nearby shower, and it was our belief that the water was coming from there.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a wall and a Gerber toilet needing to be reset. First, the customer already had the wall opened up and he showed us the pinhole leak in the copper pipe. We cut out the leaking section of pipe (with some of it coming up through the floor) and repaired with new PEX piping and fittings. Next, we pulled the toilet, cleaned and inspected its flange, replaced its wax ring gasket (with a new Mainline ML11580 model), reset the toilet, replaced its toilet bowl bolts and caps and the toilet tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues.

Pride Plumbing came out to repair a well. First, we pulled out the well's black roll piping and submersible pump. Then, after preparing a new pump assembly, we inserted a new Pentair P42B0005A1-01 submersible pump and black roll piping (with an attached torque arrestor and cable guards) back down into the well. Next, we replaced the well's outlet piping (with new PEX piping and fittings), pressure tank (with a new Goulds V60 HydroPro model), tank tee, 30/50 pump switch, pressure gauge, brass nipple, and wiring and used a heat shrink kit to reseal the well. Finally, after turning the well back on, we opened an outside hose bib spigot and drained debris out of the water line, letting it run for several minutes.

Pride Plumbing was called out for no water from a well. Our inspection found that the well's Myers MET38ABN jet pump was starting to burn up. We provided cost estimates to 1) replace the well's 30/50 pump switch and gauge, charge the pressure tank, replace the jet pump and wiring, and replace the well's outlet piping with new PEX piping and fittings; and 2) install a new submersible pump assembly (with an attached torque arrestor and cable guards) - this would include the pump, piping and fittings, wiring, tank tee, and a new well seal.
