Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a 50-gallon electric American E6N-50H 110 water heater that had caught fire with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-M2-RH95 model. Then we installed the new water heater, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater. Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature. We also upgraded the unit's elements to 3,500-watt elements due to it being on a double pole 20-amp breaker.

We also sleeved the water line in a portion of the yard that had lots of large rocks; we think this was the area where the original leak started.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in a downstairs ceiling. After gaining access into the ceiling, we found that an upstairs bathtub/shower drain was leaking and causing the stain. We removed the drain, cleaned off silicone caulk that a previous installer had applied, applied new plumber's putty to its threads, reinstalled the drain, and tested for leaks with no issues.

Pride Plumbing was called out to pump out a sewage pump tank so that the pump could be repaired. After arriving on site, we pulled the lid off the tank and prepared everything for the arrival of the septic pumping truck. We then pumped the tank and sprayed everything off to clean the pump, floats, and drain lines. We then had the customer flush the toilets to ensure that there were no stoppages, and we pumped that water out the bottom of the tank so it would be dry for when the technicians arrived to work on the pump.
