Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to either rebuild a leaking three-handle bathtub/shower valve by replacing its stems, washers, seats, handles, and escutcheons or replace it with either a new Delta single handle model or Gerber three handle model (this would include cutting an access in the shower wall, replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot- and cold-water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings, and adding new stems, washers, seats, handles, and escutcheons). We will also caulk around the downspout diverter due to it also leaking.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged Delta toilet. After pulling the toilet, we used a water pressure device down through the toilet's flange and cleared the blockage. After replacing the toilet bowl's braided stainless-steel water supply line, wax ring gaskets, and closet bolts, we reset the toilet, tested it, and the issue was resolved. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model (this would include draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, flapper, water fill valve, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line); and 2) trench a ditch from the town sewer tap to the home to expose and replace the main outside sewer septic drain line with new PVC piping and fittings along with installing proper cleanouts and fittings per code.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard at a water meter. We found the leak on a section of the PVC outside main water supply line. We dug down and cut out the leaking section of pipe and repaired it with new PEX piping and fittings. We also provided cost estimates to 1) repipe and replace the water supply and drain lines in the crawlspace, going to all the fixtures in the home (the kitchen, one bathroom (toilet, sink, and bathtub/shower), a washing machine, and a water heater), with new PEX and PVC piping respectively; installing new fittings and supports under the house for each fixture; 2) trench a ditch from the town sewer tap to the home to expose and replace the main outside sewer septic drain line with new PVC piping and fittings along with installing proper cleanouts and fittings per code; and 3) rebuild or replace a shower valve.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 40-gallon electric Whirlpool water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-M2-RH95 model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater. Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature. Then we replaced a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) at the water meter with a new Watts LFN45BM1-DU-PEXXPEX model due to high water pressure in the home and put in a new valve box and lid.
Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate the home's plumbing due to the customer's suspicion that there was a water leak underneath the home. Our thorough inspection inside and outside the home did not find any plumbing leaks on the drain and water supply lines. Also, we checked the water meter, and it was not turning.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a broken plastic trip lever on a toilet in the scale house and a leaking single-handle centerset kitchen sink faucet in a breakroom. For the toilet, we replaced the plastic trip lever with a new metal one because the customer stated that the plastic ones keep breaking. For the kitchen sink faucet, we replaced it with a new customer-supplied single-handle centerset model with a sprayer. This included removing the old faucet, mounting the new faucet, connecting the sprayer, and replacing the hot and cold above-floor water supply lines underneath the sink with new braided stainless-steel ones.
