Pride Plumbing came out and repiped and replaced the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink faucet, dishwasher, and ice maker), two bathrooms (sinks, toilets, and bathtubs/showers), the washing machine (installing a new washer box and hot and cold boiler drains), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the house along with new above-floor stainless steel water supply lines) and replaced two outside hose bib spigots with new Woodford frost-free models.
Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the building. We pulled a toilet, used a sewer machine down through the toilet's flange, and cleared a blockage in the main outside sewer septic drain line. Before replacing the toilet bowl's wax ring gasket and toilet bowl bolts and caps, reconnecting the toilet bowl's braided stainless steel water supply line, and resetting the toilet, we inserted a camera into the drain line, and it revealed that the drain line was clear. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model (this would include draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, flapper, water fill valve, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line); and 2) replace the flush valve on a urinal.
Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate the cause of standing water in the yard. Our thorough inspection inside and outside the home (including timing the water meter) did not find any plumbing issues either in the home or in the yard that would cause the standing water. However, due to the age of the water line, we provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from an existing water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to remove and replace two leaking outside anti-siphon hose bib spigots along with tying them into the existing main water supply line underneath the building with new PEX piping and fittings and adding two ball water shutoff valves.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. Our inspection found the leak coming from the water line inside a valve box. We cut out the leaking section of pipe and replaced it with new PEX piping and fittings, added a ball water shutoff valve, and replaced the valve box. We provided cost estimates to 1) repipe and replace the water supply and drain lines underneath the home in the crawlspace with new PEX and PVC piping respectively; and 2) trench a ditch from an existing water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) dig down in the yard at two existing drain lines and install two cleanouts; 2) dig from an existing roof drain at the back of the building and run a new 4-inch drain line over to a wooded area to help stop flooding at the back of the building; 3) cap off a refrigerator's ice maker water supply line; and 4) caulk around two bathtubs.
Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the building. We used a water pressure device at an outside cleanout and cleared a blockage in the main outside sewer septic drain line. We tested multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) dig down in the parking lot underneath the pavement to expose a defective section of the outside main sewer septic drain line that was broken and leaking; 2) replace that section of sewer line with new 4-inch PVC piping and fittings along with installing a new PVC outside clean out - connecting back onto the existing cast iron piping with new Fernco couplings; 3) test the new piping for leaks and working order; and 4) backfill, tamp, and spread grass seed and straw after the work has been completed.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a leaking single-handle bathtub/shower faucet valve with a new single-handle model with chrome trim (shower head, faucet valve handle and cover, downspout diverter, and overflow and drain covers). This would include cutting an access in the shower wall and replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot- and cold-water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings.
Pride Plumbing came out and 1) used an excavator to trench a ditch from the building to a septic tank underneath an asphalt parking lot; 2) installed a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the building) along with tracer wire, proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) sealed the septic tank penetration with concrete; and 4) backfilled, tamped, and spread grass seed and straw after the work had been completed.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a washer box's rubber hot- and cold-water supply lines with new braided stainless-steel ones so that a new washing machine could be installed.
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) from a floor drain in the bathroom, used a sewer machine to unclog a blockage; and 2) used a sonar location device to locate and mark the outside main sewer septic drain line from the building to the septic tank. We also provided a cost estimate to 1) trench a ditch from the building to the septic tank to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) install a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) install tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) seal the septic tank penetration and backfill, tamp, and spread grass seed and straw after the work has been completed.
Pride Plumbing was called out for two clogged toilets. We provided a cost estimate to pull one of the toilets, use a sewer machine down through its flange and drain in an attempt to clear the blockage, clean and inspect the flange, replace its wax seal gasket, reset the toilet, and replace its toilet bowl caps and bolts.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged Toto toilet. We used a closet auger down through the toilet’s flange and cleared the blockage. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.
Pride Plumbing came out and: 1) trenched a ditch from an existing water meter to the house to expose and remove the outside main water supply line; 2) installed a new 1-inch black roll and PEX outside main water supply line from the water meter to the house along with installing tracer wire; 3) connected the new water line to an existing water line connection under the house and installed a ball valve main water cut off in the crawlspace; 4) installed a new pressure reducing valve (PRV), ball water shutoff valve, and check valve at the water meter in the meter box; 5) tested the new water line for leaks and working order; and 6) backfilled and tamped the ditch after the work was completed and approved by the county’s inspection department.
Pride Plumbing responded to a sewage backup in the building. After inspecting, we found the septic tank full. We called in our septic pumping truck, uncovered the septic tank, removed its lid, pumped it out, cleaned the tank’s filter, reset the lid, and covered the tank back up. There was a blockage in the main outside sewage septic drain line, so we went inside and used a sewer machine down through a floor drain and cleared the blockage. We tested the floor drain and multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues.
