Pride Plumbing was called out for two Toto toilets not flushing properly. One toilet just had a stuck flapper which we were able to unstick and correct its flush. The other toilet supposedly had a stoppage, but it must have cleared on its own before we arrived because we flushed it several times with no issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to remove an existing bathtub/shower and replace it with a new 4-piece bathtub/shower unit along with installing a new Delta shower faucet valve with trim (shower head, faucet valve handle and cover, downspout diverter, and overflow and drain covers), PVC drain, PEX hot and cold water supply lines with shut-offs, and a plastic plumbing access panel along with connecting the new drain and water supply lines to the existing drain and water connections underneath the home.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) dig down from the septic tank to the house (approximately 10-foot) to expose a section of sewer line that has roots; 2) remove and replace the sewer line with new 4-inch PVC piping and fittings along with installing a new PVC outside clean out; 3) test the new piping for leaks and working order; 4) backfill the area we dug out; and 5) supply and install two septic tank risers, lids, and safety inserts - using the tank mastic to set the risers to the tanks.
Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the home. The customer recently had a septic company come out and pump their tank, but they still had a stoppage. They left the lid off the septic tank so we could access the main outside sewer septic drain line. We used a water pressure jetter device up through the drain line towards the home and cleared the blockage. We tested multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged kitchen sink drain. We removed the sink’s P-trap and used a sewer machine down through the sink's drain line and cleared the blockage. After replacing the P-trap and testing for leaks and proper drainage, the issue was corrected. We ran hot water down the sink for several minutes and it drained properly. We recommended the customer apply BioOne organic liquid drain cleaner to the drain once a month to help control grease buildup (https://www.aquaprosolutions.com/products/bioone-64-oz-liquid-drain-septic-treatment). We also provided a cost estimate to replace the kitchen sink's under-sink drain, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.
Pride Plumbing was called out for two water leaks underneath a double sink bathroom vanity. Our inspection found that the leaks were coming from the two sink drain tailpieces. One of the tailpieces had a loose slip joint nut which we tightened and stopped that leak. The second tailpiece had a pinhole leak in it. We removed and replaced the tailpiece and tested it for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a single-basin bathroom sink with a new customer-supplied double-basin bathroom sink. This required us to 1) remove the water and drain lines from the single-basin sink and remove it; 2) cut the sheetrock and run additional PEX water and PVC drain lines for the new double-basin sink, adding supply stops where needed; 3) once the water and drain lines were stubbed up, we built the double-sink vanity and secured its cabinet and top to the wall and sealed around it; 4) we installed new customer-supplied faucets for both sinks and attached their water supply lines; 5) we installed new Jaclo 814-DP-SN drain assemblies and connected the sink drains to their trap adapters; and 6) we tested for leaks and proper functionality.

Pride Plumbing came out to inspect and test a Zurn 975XL reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow assembly. We inspected and tested the backflow, and it passed. Pride Plumbing then filed the appropriate certification paperwork with BSI and Moore County.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a dripping two-handle Delta bathroom sink faucet. We replaced the faucet’s washers and springs and corrected the issue. We provided a cost estimate to replace the faucet with a new single-handle Delta, Olympia, or Peerless model (this would include removing the old faucet, mounting the new faucet, and replacing the hot and cold water shut-off valves and above-floor braided stainless steel water supply lines underneath the sink).
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a faulty relief valve on an Apollo RP4A reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow assembly. After the repair, we inspected and tested the backflow, and it passed. Pride Plumbing then filed the appropriate certification paperwork with BSI and Moore County.
Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate the home's plumbing due to a higher than usual water bill. Our thorough inspection inside and outside the home did not find any plumbing sources or causes for the high water bill. Also, we checked the water meter, and it was not turning.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace two leaking two-handle bathroom sink faucets with either new customer supplied two-handle models or Pride Plumbing supplied two-handle Delta, Olympia, or Peerless models (this would include removing the old faucets, mounting the new faucets, and replacing their hot and cold water shut-off valves and above-floor braided stainless steel water supply lines underneath the sinks).
Pride Plumbing was called out to determine the location of a water leak due to the customer's water meter continuously spinning. Our thorough inspection inside and outside the home, including the basement and crawlspace, did not find any leaks. We then turned off an isolation valve inside the basement, checked the water meter and found it to still be spinning. This told us that the leak was in the yard. We then provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
