Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak at a well. Our inspection found that a PVC outlet pipe had frozen and burst. We cut out the PVC pipe and replaced it with new PEX piping and fittings. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the well to the building and replace the main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a Gerber toilet tank that would run constantly and not fill. Our inspection determined that the tank’s water fill valve was malfunctioning. After shutting off the water, we drained the water from the tank, replaced the water fill valve with a new Fluidmaster PRO45B model along with its above floor braided stainless steel water supply line. Then we turned the water back on, filled the tank, and tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, flapper, water fill valve, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) repiped and replaced the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink faucet, dishwasher, and ice maker), one bathroom (sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower), the washing machine (installing a new washer box and hot and cold boiler drains), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the house along with new above-floor stainless steel water supply lines) and replaced two outside hose bib spigots with new Woodford frost-free models; and 2) installed a new 50-gallon electric Rheem PROE50-M2-RH95 water heater along with a new thermal expansion tank.

We used a water pressure jetter device at a cleanout underneath the home and cleared a blockage in the main outside sewer septic drain line. We tested multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to 1) trench a ditch from the house to the town sewer tap to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) install a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) install tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) backfill, tamp, and spread grass seed and straw after the work has been inspected and approved by Stanly County's Inspection Department.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a 50-gallon propane gas State tank water heater with a new Navien 240A tankless model with NAVICIRC recirculation pump. This would include: 1) removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; 2) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, NAVICIRC recirculating kit, drip leg, gas shutoff valve, and condensation and intake lines; 3) wiring up the unit; 4) ensuring that it is properly vented; and 5) lighting and programming the unit. We also quoted installing a new smart water valve.

We removed the bathroom sink vanity and opened the wall to find a hole made by a mouse on the sink's cold-side water supply line. We cut out the damaged section of pipe and capped both the hot and cold water supply lines. Pride Plumbing was called out for lukewarm water from several plumbing fixtures in the home. Our inspection and tests determined that the issue was being caused by a bathroom sink faucet in the guest bathroom - the faucet was allowing cold water to mix with the hot before going to the other fixtures. We provided cost estimates to replace the faucet with either a new customer-supplied model or a Pride Plumbing-supplied Delta, Olympia, or Peerless model (this would include removing the old faucet, mounting the new faucet, and replacing the hot and cold water shut-off valves and above-floor braided stainless steel water supply lines underneath the sink).
