Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a non-working Navien tankless water heater with a new Navien 240S tankless model without a NAVICIRC recirculation pump. This included 1) removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; 2) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, drip leg, gas shutoff valve, and condensation and intake lines; 3) wiring up the unit; 4) ensuring that it was properly vented; 5) lighting and programming the unit; and 6) linking it together with two existing Navien tankless units.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a 40-gallon gas water heater that wouldn't light with a new 40-gallon gas Rheem model with an atmospheric vent. This included removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; and installing the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines and copper gas supply lines to the water heater connectors, a temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve, a brass drain valve, atmospheric vent and ensuring the unit was properly vented, and lighting the pilot and adjusting its flame.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to 1) in a men's bathroom, replace a toilet with a new Kohler pressure assist model; 2) in a janitor closet, install a new T&S mop sink faucet; 3) in a pet wash area, replace two pet wash sinks, two floor sinks, a hub drain and floor cleanout, and install a new Navien tankless water heater; 4) install a bi-level water cooler drinking fountain with a bottle filler; 5) run approximately 40-feet of 1-inch black steel gas line overhead and tie onto an existing 1-inch gas line on top of the roof; 6) cut and remove a section of concrete outside to install underground plumbing to an existing sewer line; and 7) jet wash the main drain lines in the bathroom and pet wash station along with using a sewer camera to record the findings.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking and non-working Navien tankless water heater. Our inspection found that the unit was leaking from inside, and this caused the PCB board to go out. Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to either rebuild (by replacing the elements and thermostats) or replace a 30-gallon electric Whirlpool E30H6-45 110 water heater with a new 40-gallon electric model (this would include removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections (adding a Romex connector), bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature).
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking single-handle shower faucet valve with a new Delta R10000PX-BP single-handle model with Delta chrome trim (shower head and faucet valve handle and cover).
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to: 1) trench a ditch from the water meter to the house to expose and remove the outside main water supply line; 2) install a new 1-inch black roll and PEX outside main water supply line from the water meter to the house along with installing tracer wire; 3) connect the new water line to an existing water line connection under the house and install a new ball valve main water shut-off and new thermal expansion tank in the crawlspace; 4) install a new pressure reducing valve (PRV), ball valve, and check valve at the water meter in the meter box; 5) test the new water line for leaks and working order; and 6) backfill and tamp the ditch after the work is completed and approved by Montgomery County’s Inspection Department.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to install a hot water circulation pump underneath a kitchen sink to aid in getting hot water to the kitchen sink faucet quicker.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath the home. We found a leak on a PEX water supply line tee - it had failed due to well water corrosion. We cut out the leaking tee and short sections of pipe and repaired them with new PEX piping and fittings. We also provided a cost estimate to install an Honest Water Filter Company Silver Plus whole-house water filtration system along with a Defender pre-filter and two 5-micron filters.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath a kitchen sink. Our inspection found that a metal waste arm trap adapter had deteriorated. We replaced it with a new PVC waste arm trap adapter and tested for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) turned the water off to the home; 2) cut an incoming waterline before a DAB booster pump going to a 40-gallon water tank; 3) inserted a new Amtrol-Worthington WP44SS well tank on the waterline before the booster pump and connected it to the booster pump using PEX piping and fittings, adding a ball water shutoff valve; 4) turned the water back on, filled the water tank, and tested for leaks and proper operation.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a sewer pump alarm going off. After calling in our septic pumping truck and pumping down the tank, our inspection found that the pump had an electrical issue. We advised the customer to contact an electrician to come out and look at the pump.
Pride Plumbing came out reinstalled a kitchen sink and faucet with sprayer and reconnected and reinstalled a Kenmore 175 garbage disposal since the countertops were replaced. We cut off the water and reinstalled the sink, P-trap and drain assembly, faucet and sprayer and water supply lines, and garbage disposal that we had previously removed.
Pride Plumbing came out and 1) used an excavator to trench a ditch from the house to the town sewer tap to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) installed a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) installed tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) backfilled, tamped, and spread grass seed and straw after the work was inspected and approved by Montgomery County's Inspection Department.
Pride Plumbing came out and took a water sample in order to determine if the customer needed to update their whole-house water softener system.
