Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a commercial pressure-assist toilet with a new commercial pressure-assist Gerber Viper model. This included draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting and cleaning the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line. We added four plastic shims to level it. There was also a toilet bowl leaking at its base and causing a sewage odor in the building. We pulled the toilet, repaired its damaged flange with a Jones Stephens C88001 closet flange extender, replaced its wax ring gasket, reset the toilet, replaced its toilet bowl bolts and caps and the toilet tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We tested both toilets for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and cut and removed a section of concrete; dug down and exposed a sewer pipe; cut out and replaced a defective fitting on the sewer pipe that was causing frequent backups; tested the drain line for leaks; and backfilled the area we dug out after the work was completed.
Pride Plumbing came out and hand-dug around a sewage tank located inside a pit to gain access to its sewer line; cut out and replaced a defective wye on the sewer pipe that had shifted over time and was causing blockages; connected the new pipe onto the existing pipe with a new Fernco couplings, and tested the drain line for leaks and backfilled the ditch after the work was complete.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath a kitchen sink. Our inspection found leaks on the drain assembly's continuous wastes above the main P-trap. We replaced the center outlet continuous waste with a new Mainline MLP9123A waste and the end outlet continuous waste with a new Mainline MLP9121 waste. After replacement, we checked for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. Our inspection found a cracked gate valve on a black roll and CPVC outside water supply line. The customer wanted the line capped, so we cut off the water, dug out the area, cut and removed the gate valve at the black roll piping, and capped the water line using PEX piping and fittings. We turned the water back on and tested for leaks with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from an existing water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a 40-gallon LP gas Rheem XP40T06EC32U1 LP water heater not producing hot water. Our inspection found that the unit's pilot light was not lit. We relit the pilot light, waited a few minutes, and tested the hot water in the home and the issue was corrected. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the unit with a new 40-gallon gas model. This would include removing and disposing of the old water heater after disconnecting its electrical connections, vent lines, and gas and inlet and outlet water lines; and installing the new water heater, water and gas ball shut-off valves, new water and electrical connectors, brass drain valve, atmospheric vent, and thermal expansion tank; ensuring that the unit is properly vented, lighting its pilot, and setting it to its appropriate operating temperature.

Pride Plumbing was called out for an overflowing outside sewer pump. We used a sewer machine down through an outside cleanout and cleared a blockage in the main outside sewer septic drain line. We tested multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues. We also inserted a camera into the drain line, and it revealed damage from roots due to a loose Fernco coupling.

Pride Plumbing came out performed the following work: 1) installed the PEX water supply and PVC drain lines for a bathroom sink and connected the P-trap, under-sink drain assembly, water stops, and stainless-steel water supply lines; 2) installed a Kohler toilet; 3) installed a dishwasher's PEX water supply line and PVC flange tailpiece; and 4) installed an outside hose bib spigot; connecting it to the existing main water supply line underneath the home.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a Kohler toilet. Our inspection found that the tank's canister flush valve gasket was leaking. We turned the water off to the toilet, drained the tank, removed the canister flush valve, used a new Kohler K-GP1059291 canister flush valve seal kit and replaced the gasket, reinstalled the canister, turned the water back on, and tested for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow with a new Zurn Wilkins 375 model. We removed the old backflow; installed the new backflow assembly with new flange gaskets and mounting bolts and nuts; turned the water back on and checked for leaks. We then performed a certification test, and it passed. Pride Plumbing then filed the appropriate certification paperwork with the county.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a yard hydrant (this required us to dig down and uncover its water supply line, bust the concrete around the yard hydrant, remove the water supply line and the yard hydrant, install the new yard hydrant and PEX water piping going to it; connect the PEX piping to the existing outside main water supply line, pour pea gravel around the new yard hydrant, cover the pea gravel with new cement, and cover and tamp the new water line.
