Pride Plumbing was called out for lukewarm water on the cold side of the home's faucets and for a Navien tankless water heater constantly turning on and off. Our inspection found that the issue was due to how the water heater was set up. We explained to the homeowner that we could either set the unit to provide hot water on demand (which would cause it to turn on and off more and lead to lukewarm water on the cold side faucets throughout the house) or set it to external mode (which would cause it to operate like a standard tank water heater with the hot water taking a little time to make it to the upstairs bathroom). The customer opted for us to set it to external mode. After making the adjustment, we tested the water's temperature both downstairs and upstairs and the customer was satisfied.
Pride Plumbing came out and removed a NAVICIRC recirculation pump from one of two Navien tankless water heaters due to it introducing too much hot water into the cold water line.
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) cut out and removed a kitchen sink's cast iron drain and copper water supply lines; 2) installed a new PVC drain and PEX water supply lines, rerouting them to a new kitchen sink location in the kitchen; 3) installed a new two-compartment stainless steel kitchen sink (along with its basket strainers, P-trap, end outlet waste, dishwasher tailpiece, PVC drain line (tying into the existing drain line under the house), and hot and cold PEX and stainless steel braided water supply lines and their water supply stops); 4) installed a kitchen sink faucet; 5) installed an air admittance valve on the sink's drain line; 6) caulked around the sink; 7) installed a refrigerator ice maker water supply line; and 8) cut and cap an existing gas stove gas supply line and install a new gas line, rerouting it over to a new stove's location.
Pride Plumbing came out and installed a new Navien NPE-240A tankless water heater with a NAVICIRC recirculation pump. This included: 1) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, NAVICIRC recirculating kit, and condensation and intake lines; 2) cutting, capping, and rerouting the home’s hot and cold water supply lines over to the location of the new water heater; 3) installing a new gas line over to the unit’s location along with a drip leg and gas shutoff valve; 4) wiring up the unit; 5) ensuring that it was properly vented outside the home; and 6) lighting and programming the unit.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to 1) install two bathroom sinks and Delta faucets, hot and cold above-floor braided stainless steel water supply lines, popup assemblies, P-traps, and drain tailpieces; and 2) install a Liberty Ascent II sewage grinder pump (this would include setting the pump in place, connecting the sinks' drain lines to it, running the pump’s PVC outlet drain line up into the ceiling and connecting onto the building’s existing drain and vent lines, and testing the pump for leaks and proper operation).
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a leaking 2-inch ProPress ball valve on an upstairs kitchen water supply line.
Pride Plumbing was called out for two water leaks in the kitchen. When we arrived, they let us know that one leak was on a gate valve on the hot side for a faucet. The gate valve only leaked when it was turned off. We tightened up its packing nut and fixed the leak. Next, we found out the other leak was coming from a steam line supplying two Cleveland steam pots that they no longer use. We located the valve on the steam line and turned it off.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to relocate an LG washing machine and a kitchen sink along with their corresponding water supply an drain lines; install a new kitchen sink faucet; install a new refrigerator ice maker water supply line; install a new gas supply line to a gas stove and cap the stove's old gas supply line; take out and remove an existing cast iron drain line that needs to be rerouted overhead to a new wall to make room for an appliance counter and install new PVC piping and fittings; replace an American ProLine gas tank water heater with a new Navien tankless model with a recirculating pump, and reroute the water supply line going to an outside hose bib spigot.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a toilet bowl leaking at its base. We pulled the toilet, cleaned and inspected its flange, replaced its wax ring gasket (with a new Mainline ML11580 model), reset the toilet, replaced its toilet bowl bolts and caps and the toilet tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. Then we put two plastic shims underneath the toilet to level it. We tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
