Barry was very professional and was aware of keeping his feet clean on his trips to his truck and back into the house. He did a thorough job with both our heating systems and gave me some pointers on thermostat settings.
great guys who knew their stuff and promptly found problem
Installers were great
Kurt came to repair my heating system. He was prompt, courteous, and resolved the issue we were having with our heating/ cooling system.
He and dave did great professional job and explained everything we asked
This company added a heating and cooling system to our second floor. They were very professional and so easy to work with. They came up with a great HVAC system for our major home renovation. Their work was excellent and they tailored the stages of the job to work perfectly with the other professionals who were here working as well. Their workers are very polite and clean up meticulously. My husband and I are really pleased and impressed with the job they completed.
Performed heating maintenance, replaced air filter. Serviced humidifier, cleaned and replaced water panel. Tested electric back up heaters. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started heat pump, tested defrost cycle and checked temperature rise across coil.
Performed Quality Assurance on Goodman Gas Furnace that was replaced under warranty. Reviewed Installation with homeowner. Completed Checklist Form in system. There was not full combustion readings in the Install Checklist Form for this unit. Performed Combustion Test and Gas Pressure Test to ensure it was setup. The other Unit where the Heat Exchanger was replaced had full combustion results, so I did not perform another Combustion Test. Did note that the Unit we replaced the Heat Exchanger has Flex/Trac-Pipe connecting the Gas Line to the Gas Valve.
New Maintenance Plan 2021-2022 Performed heating maintenance, replaced air filter. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Tested electric back up heaters. Started heat pump, tested defrost cycle. Calculated btu output. Checked operation and temperature rise across coil
Replaced Goodman heat exchanger. Removed all other components from furnace cabinet. Installed new heat exchanger with new collector box. Made sure everything was sealed. Performed combustion test and ran furnace to burn off oils off of new heat exchanger. Also ran system in cooling mode. Pressures were 260/120 at 77 degrees. System is working fine again at time of service.
Checked noise in the heat mode. Cycled low fire and high fire. Checked blower speed ok. Found vent pipe rubbing duct work. Moved vent pipe away from duct. Cycled air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil. Found no unusual noise or vibration from unit.
Installed new Goodman 80k furnace. Installed 6 in transition because of height difference between new furnace and coil. Installed new ez trap and wired to break R. Installed new switch and outlet. Adapted to existing gas line. Installed new propane conversion kit. Installed new intake drain kit. Adjusted propane to manufacture spec and dip switches to manufacture specs. Tested system in heating and cooling. System working properly and work area cleaned. Rest of payment for heat exchanger replacement.
Found outdoor heat pump not running. After removing the outdoor unit cover found blown 30/7.5 capacitor. Replaced capacitor and heat pump came back on. Checked refrigerant pressures, 410 a refrigerant pressures were 330/124. Checked temperature split at indoor unit, temperature split was 21 degrees. System is condensating. Heat pump system is working fine at time of service
Found that 2 other companies stated that both amana propane gas furnaces have cracked heat exchangers. Performed combustion tests on both furnaces and inspected with a camera. Found cracks in both gas furnaces. Provided quotes to replace both heat exchangers under warranty. Recommended to homeowner to replace both gas furnaces. Just replacing the heat exchangers doe not guarantee all other components will last. Homeowner will let us know if she wants us to quote installing new furnaces.
Found 24volts between c&g. Found variable speed blower motor not running. Found bad blower control and variable speed blower motor. Called distributer for price and availability. Oredered parts from distributer, will Return to complete repair.
AC Tune up for 2.5 ton Amana AC system (attic). 42F temperature split. Verified tstat operation. Cleaned and primed EZ trap. Both coils are in good condition. Indoor amps/compressor amps/outdoor voltage ok. Refrigerant pressures subcooling/superheat ok. All electric motors and components ok. System is operating well at the time of this tune up. AC tune up for 3 ton Carrier AC system. 21F temperature split. Cleaned washable filter. Cleaned and primed EZ trap. Verified condensate pump operation. Indoor amps/compressor amps/outdoor voltage ok. Both coils are in good condition. All electric motors and components ok. Refrigerant pressures/subcooling/superheat ok. System is operating well at the time of this tune up. Mrs. Schepis is moving.
Performed PECO inspection, replaced standard air filter. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Tested electric back up heaters. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge and temperature rise across coil.
Performed cooling maintenance, replaced standard air. Shut off humidifier for summer. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Performed cooling maintenance, replaced standard air filters, blew out condensate traps and drains. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical, checked capacitor values. Started air conditioners, checked refrigerant charge and checked temperature drop across coils. Checked noise complaint on great room unit, could not hear anything but air noise.
Performed peco inspection on 2 heat pumps, checked air filters ok. Blew out condensate traps and drains. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Tested electric heat. Started heat pumps, Calculated btu output. Tested defrost cycle. Checked operation and temperature rise across coils.
Heat tune Up for an (1) Amana Heat Pump and for a (2) carrier Heat Pump. All electric components reading within spec. 20F temp rise for System 2. 28F temp rise from system (1). Mrs. Schepers maintains filter for Carrier system; replaced 20x20x1 Amana system. Both systems defrost cycles are good. Refrigerant pressures are good (30F outdoor air temp). Aux heat are both good. Both heat pumps are operating well at the time of this tune up/maintenance.
