Barry was very professional and was aware of keeping his feet clean on his trips to his truck and back into the house. He did a thorough job with both our heating systems and gave me some pointers on thermostat settings.
great guys who knew their stuff and promptly found problem
Installers were great
Kurt came to repair my heating system. He was prompt, courteous, and resolved the issue we were having with our heating/ cooling system.
He and dave did great professional job and explained everything we asked
This company added a heating and cooling system to our second floor. They were very professional and so easy to work with. They came up with a great HVAC system for our major home renovation. Their work was excellent and they tailored the stages of the job to work perfectly with the other professionals who were here working as well. Their workers are very polite and clean up meticulously. My husband and I are really pleased and impressed with the job they completed.
Found 24volts between c&g. Found variable speed blower motor not running. Found bad blower control and variable speed blower motor. Called distributer for price and availability. Oredered parts from distributer, will Return to complete repair.
AC Tune up for 2.5 ton Amana AC system (attic). 42F temperature split. Verified tstat operation. Cleaned and primed EZ trap. Both coils are in good condition. Indoor amps/compressor amps/outdoor voltage ok. Refrigerant pressures subcooling/superheat ok. All electric motors and components ok. System is operating well at the time of this tune up. AC tune up for 3 ton Carrier AC system. 21F temperature split. Cleaned washable filter. Cleaned and primed EZ trap. Verified condensate pump operation. Indoor amps/compressor amps/outdoor voltage ok. Both coils are in good condition. All electric motors and components ok. Refrigerant pressures/subcooling/superheat ok. System is operating well at the time of this tune up. Mrs. Schepis is moving.
Performed PECO inspection, replaced standard air filter. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Tested electric back up heaters. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge and temperature rise across coil.
Performed cooling maintenance, replaced standard air. Shut off humidifier for summer. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Performed cooling maintenance, replaced standard air filters, blew out condensate traps and drains. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical, checked capacitor values. Started air conditioners, checked refrigerant charge and checked temperature drop across coils. Checked noise complaint on great room unit, could not hear anything but air noise.
Performed peco inspection on 2 heat pumps, checked air filters ok. Blew out condensate traps and drains. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Tested electric heat. Started heat pumps, Calculated btu output. Tested defrost cycle. Checked operation and temperature rise across coils.
Heat tune Up for an (1) Amana Heat Pump and for a (2) carrier Heat Pump. All electric components reading within spec. 20F temp rise for System 2. 28F temp rise from system (1). Mrs. Schepers maintains filter for Carrier system; replaced 20x20x1 Amana system. Both systems defrost cycles are good. Refrigerant pressures are good (30F outdoor air temp). Aux heat are both good. Both heat pumps are operating well at the time of this tune up/maintenance.
Performed propane condensing boiler ultra 155, tune up check electrical low and high ok noticed small crack on top hole where of of the nuts is holding the cover, would recommend replacing cover plate, clean heat exchanger and burner, cleaned sensor, check all settings inputs and outputs ok temperatures ok, performed combustion test ok test all 3 zones ok back and front house ok game room baseboard ok, back and front thermostats are set to emergency heat, test regular heat and both are working ok, service two humidifiers, set to normal settings test and cycle ok check all filters, performed heat tune up on garage propane furnace, replaced air filter, cleaned flame sensor, and inspect burners ok performed combustion test check temps rise ok unit is working within manufacture numbers, also performed heat tune up on split heat pump with 10 kw electric as back up, located in the attic above recreation room, check 10 kw back up ok all settings ok check temp rise on regular and emergency hea
Performed heating maintenance, replaced standard air filter. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Tested electric back up heaters. Serviced humidifier, cleaned and replaced water panel. Started and checked operation. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge. Measured btu output. Checked operation and temperature rise across coil.
Found that the thermostat for the second floor system itself was not working correctly. Found that when you try to tap a selection to hit heat it would hit the off section. Touch screen is working incorrectly. The thermostat and module was not replaced when we installed the steam humidifier last year. Recommended replacing the module with prestige thermostat. Called distributer for price and availability.
Performed a 6 month inspection. Tested caps , cleaned ez trap and pump, changed air filter , taped electrical wires on the outdoor ac unit . Cleaned in ac panel. Checked ac pressures and got a 20 degree split. Customer wants info on a reme due to the flooding of her basement. (there is a musty smell)
Completed Quality Assurance on Gas Furnace. Reviewed Settings and completed checklist form. Homeowner had concerns over the vents dripping water in the basement which was due to the contractors leaving the Sliding door open while they were working. She also had concerns over water that was found in the wall cavity where the Lineset runs outside. Siliconed around the interior and exterior of the wall penetration. Taped around the Lineset insulation where two pieces of insulation meet. Did not see any signs of water at time of visit. The Lineset is at ground level outside and water may be coming in through the ground. Also recommended that she has the contractors foam seal around the Lineset in the exposed wall cavity which will help fill any cracks or seams that might be letting water through. The Lineset for the apartment above her runs next to her Lineset. Outside the insulation is missing, but through the wall the Lineset appears to be insulated. Homeowner is going to monitor and tal
Removed existing furnace and installed new American standard furnace, re attached gas and electric connections, check for gas leaks on work performed, no leaks, installed new condensation pump and wired safety miseries with water trap to break R, check ac operation supply air 56 return air 75, ran heater and adjust low and high stage gas pressures, also performed combustion test, calculated CFM by temperature rise ok heater is set for tap 5 for ac and high stage heat, and tap 3 for Low stage of heat, cycle furnace went over system with customer,
Checked new furnace was under water, found water came up to the burners, the motor, furnace control board, pressure switches, transformer, and condensate pump all were submerged and need to be replaced. The condenser was also under water, recommend replacing contactor and capacitor.
Performed attic ac tune up check electrical low and high ok filter should get change 24x24x1 check indoor coil and blower, ok noticed unit does not have access to flushed drain, added one gallon on water on primary pan and water seems to be draining ok, informed customer system does not have excess to flushed drain, no ez trap, wet switch, check outdoor unit refrigerant r22 pressures ok capacitor and contactor ok unit is from 1995 cycle unit ok
