Installers were great
Kurt came to repair my heating system. He was prompt, courteous, and resolved the issue we were having with our heating/ cooling system.
He and dave did great professional job and explained everything we asked
This company added a heating and cooling system to our second floor. They were very professional and so easy to work with. They came up with a great HVAC system for our major home renovation. Their work was excellent and they tailored the stages of the job to work perfectly with the other professionals who were here working as well. Their workers are very polite and clean up meticulously. My husband and I are really pleased and impressed with the job they completed.
Completed Quality Assurance on Gas Furnace. Reviewed Settings and completed checklist form. Homeowner had concerns over the vents dripping water in the basement which was due to the contractors leaving the Sliding door open while they were working. She also had concerns over water that was found in the wall cavity where the Lineset runs outside. Siliconed around the interior and exterior of the wall penetration. Taped around the Lineset insulation where two pieces of insulation meet. Did not see any signs of water at time of visit. The Lineset is at ground level outside and water may be coming in through the ground. Also recommended that she has the contractors foam seal around the Lineset in the exposed wall cavity which will help fill any cracks or seams that might be letting water through. The Lineset for the apartment above her runs next to her Lineset. Outside the insulation is missing, but through the wall the Lineset appears to be insulated. Homeowner is going to monitor and tal
Removed existing furnace and installed new American standard furnace, re attached gas and electric connections, check for gas leaks on work performed, no leaks, installed new condensation pump and wired safety miseries with water trap to break R, check ac operation supply air 56 return air 75, ran heater and adjust low and high stage gas pressures, also performed combustion test, calculated CFM by temperature rise ok heater is set for tap 5 for ac and high stage heat, and tap 3 for Low stage of heat, cycle furnace went over system with customer,
Checked new furnace was under water, found water came up to the burners, the motor, furnace control board, pressure switches, transformer, and condensate pump all were submerged and need to be replaced. The condenser was also under water, recommend replacing contactor and capacitor.
Performed attic ac tune up check electrical low and high ok filter should get change 24x24x1 check indoor coil and blower, ok noticed unit does not have access to flushed drain, added one gallon on water on primary pan and water seems to be draining ok, informed customer system does not have excess to flushed drain, no ez trap, wet switch, check outdoor unit refrigerant r22 pressures ok capacitor and contactor ok unit is from 1995 cycle unit ok
Performed cooling maintenance, checked air filters. Cleaned condensate drains. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values, found compressor run capacitor open and burning up the common side wires. Replaced first floor compressor run capacitor and repaired burnt wires. Started air conditioners, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coils
Caulk seal around new filtered grill in lower floor. No charge for this visit.
Performed Quality Assurance inspection on a newly installed gas furnace and air conditioning system. System was running while doing QA. Inside temp split of 50/70. Running great at time of QA. All wiring proper and secure. No leaks on gas line connections. No leaks on condensate drain. Outdoor unit level and proper. Disconnect off level but looks like they matched it up to cover unpainted wall area behind. System looks great. Installed filtered return grill on wall. Need to swing by one day and caulk around new return grill I installed. Did not have white caulk.
Reclaimed and removed old equipment. Installed new leveled pad, disconnect, whip, and American standard condenser. Cut open wall between studs and Ran new lineset in 3 pieces, used zoom lock fittings and brazed in with nitrogen. Installed new American standard furnace. Placed new coil on top and brazed in with nitrogen. Pressure tested to 300 psi and evacuated down to 135 microns. Fabricated a plenum and sealed all ductwork. Reconnected gas and leak checked. Installed new ez trap and pump and ran condensate piping. Ran new vinyl to discharge. Reconnected Flue piping. Installed new receptacle and switch and reconnected electric. Wired in low volt. Tested all functions. Found stand pipe was clogged and blew out with gallon gun and tested. Performed combustion test and adjusted gas pressures. Charged unit to specifications. System running great at time of install.
Checked no cooling complaint on carrier heat pump, found outdoor fan not running. Checked run capacitor, found open capacitor. Replaced dual run capacitor. Started air conditioner, checked operation and refrigerant charge ok.
Add ac renew to lubricate all internal parts of the refrigeration system, compressor, compressor valves, indoor and outdoor txv and also reversing valve, will improve compressor efficiency and lower compressor noise
Performed quality check, checked air filter ok. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, tested electric back up heaters. Started heat pump, tested defrost cycle, measured refrigerant charge in cooling mode. Checked operation and temperature drop across coil. Jeannine Will contact us when she is ready to finish the garage.
Performed four split ac units check ups, check electrical low an high ok replace filters (3) 213 and one 16x25x1 Flushed drain and test pump ok tuned off humidifiers, check splits ok outdoor unit refrigerant pressures and electrical components ok capacitor and contactor ok cycle all four units ok, recommend adding ac renew for unit 1 and 2 compressor is making noise, adding ac renew will lubricate all internal moving parts will work more efficient and will help prevent any compressor damage, also air handler 2 has mold informed customer and recommended adding uv light treatment,,,,also performed ac tune up on mini splits units each unit has two indoor units one is straight ac and other one is heat pump both duct less units checked out ok clean all filters and inspect indoor and outdoor coils ok, emailed proposal for units 1 and 2
Performed precision a/c tune up on trane heat pump system. Replaced 20x22x1 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Blew out condensate drain. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. System is working fine at time of service.
Found contacter burned and pitted. Replaced 1 1/2 pole contactor. Also performed precision heat tune and a/c tune up on Bryant hybrid system. 16x20x1 air filter is clean. Checked all electrical conections and components. Cleaned flame sensor. Blew out condensate drain and pressure switch tubing. Checked operation of heat pump in heating mode. Tested condensate pump. Performed combustion test. Checked heat pump in a/c mode. System is working fine at time of service.
Found locked up 1/2 hp psc blower motor. Found 123 volts going to blower motor but motor is tight and locked up. Gave homeowner option to ethier replace furnace or blower motor. Homeowner wanted to replace blower motor for now so replaced motor and system is a hybrid. Heat pump with propane back up so checked temperature rise in heat pump mode. Temperature rise was 18 degrees in heat pump mode. Customer is a new customer so suggested they sign up for a service contract to have the savings on the repair. Homeowner signed up for membership, system is back up and working fine.
