Client getting excessive humidity in home. Upon inspection of system found air handler internally saturated with water which compromised all the insulation in air handler. This happened because the float switch failed and the drain line got backed up into unit. Air handler is covered in biological growth. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, recommend replacing system due to Condition and cost of repairs.
Task Includes -Installation of new control wiring from air handler to condenser -Running control wiring in electrical conduit and strapping to the wall -Testing systems operation - tell Customer about what James said if any problems we’re not hold accountable
Removed old blower and replaced with new blower/module. Parts are under warranty, cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time.
No cooling, evaporator coil is freezing up. Blower motor are not running. Found bad blower motor/module. Need to order parts on Monday and return to make repairs.

Showed up at secondary pan was full of water trip secondary float switch no water and prime we were just out here drain lines weren’t cleared and unit got backed up so that’s why the unit wasn’t working
No cooling, did a complete evaluation of AC system. System is blowing out cool air but not cold air. Did an electronic leak search and found leak in evaporator coil, also indoor capacitor is weak, outdoor unit condenser fan motor, not running due to a bad dual run capacitor. Also found heavy amount of biological growth on blower wheel and in air handler cabinet. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 14 years old and recommend replacing due to age and cost of repairs. Client chose to replace system at this time. Installing 2 ton Goodman system on Thursday, August 28. Client is going to be filling out financing forms this afternoon on lunch break and will follow up with her at that time.
Performed system maintenance. Found equipment and all small parts operating to manufacturer specs at this time.
RTU #14 making loud noise up on the roof. Diagnosed issue to be a bad condenser fan motor and blade for circuit #2. Ordered parts to be replaced. Parts will take 3 to 5 business days to come in and we’ll schedule with client as soon as parts are available.
Client stated roof was leaking by ac unit. Is raining, thunder, and lightening. Do not feel safe to be exposed in the rooftop at this time but I did go up in the man lift on site to inspect the drip. Could not 100% identify leak but does appear to not be the system due to water coming from roof away from where curb is and dripping on top of duct work not in it.
