Alexander did an excellent job tonight! Our air conditioning stopped working in the late afternoon and we noticed slightly after 5:00 PM. We called Mason air conditioning and they promised to send someone out this evening. Alexander arrived earlier than expected. He diagnosed the situation. He solved the main problem. He identified another potential problem. And because of his good work, our air conditioning was back up and running. He also identified additional work that can be done to prevent future issues and promise to come take care of that. We could not be more pleased.

He claimed to have over 20 years experience and AC work but gave me a wrong diagnostic on my AC unit saying that it had a leak and I needed Freon and a leak detection oil which would have cost me over $700 !!! When in fact, it was never that !! he never checked the Duck work in the garage, which had came loose and needed to be replaced so that I wouldn’t be sucking in hot air from the garage once that was fixed. My house is ice cold. I always believe that if you are in business and can’t figure something out at least be honest.

Gave client estimate to remove and reinstall 12 condensers and put one unit up on condenser stand. Unit number 412 and 468 are older units and recommend replacing instead of moving.
Gave client estimate to replace AC and relocate air handler
Client states that system was freezing up, system was thawed out upon arrival. Pulled out air filter and found evaporator coil completely plugged and blocked. There was a plastic bag sucked into evaporator coil not letting any airflow pass through. Blower wheel is very dirty as well. Condenser coil is also dirty and needs to be deep cleaned. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 11 years old and recommend replacing due to age and cost of repair. Client will discuss all options with homeowner and will let us know which solution they would like to go with.
Replaced control board in air handler and set up through cool cloud app. Set all parameters in app. Cycle system and tested all operations. OK at this time.

AC system is intermittently shutting off. Found some water in the float switch. There is heavy amounts of sediment buildup in drain pan and evaporator coil, also there was no P-trap on drain line. Installed P-trap on drain line and recommended having evaporator coil pulled and cleaned with a UV light installed. Client needs to think about options and will get back to us. Removed some of the sediment in the drain pan so that drain can properly drain for now, however, problem will continue to occur unless system is thoroughly cleaned. Offered client an annual membership.

No cooling, thermostat to displaying a fan fault error code. Went up into the attic where air handler is located and found emergency drain pan full of water. Drain line is plugged and primary float switch is bad. Also condenser coil is dirty. Gave client solutions for issues with system. Client chose to move forward with all repairs. Removed all water from emergency drain pan, installed an in-line drain cleaner to break down any sediment buildup in drain line, cleaned and flushed out drain line, and chemically cleaned condenser coil. Start and tested system, all operations OK at this time.
