Despite going 2-1/2 days without AC in the middle of July and being 6pm, our meeting with Mason air was a delight, because of Aaron Krasnow. This was the third company we had out and Aaron had the most experience and technical knowledge of all the techs we had seen previously. We were well prepared for what was wrong and that we were ultimately going to get a new system and Aaron was fabulous with details on different systems, different ducts, return placements, proper sizing, seers, bTU. One o the company insisted on a larger unit which made seek more options. Love to see someone so passionate and knowledgeable about the work they do and super polite. Aaron even went back to the shop to get us a loaner portable, at 8 on a Friday night. Above and beyond. Thanks.

Johnathan and Jake were great. Despite arriving much later than originally scheduled due to an unforeseen delay, they completed the job within the expected time frame with ease. They were both very accommodating in answering questions and being patient as I have 4 animals in this house lol. Air conditioning seems to be working better than it ever has in the past 7 years. Thanks!

Did a walk-through on 9 apartments to come up with estimate on replacing ductwork. Client waiting for approval from insurance company to see how much is covered for ductwork replacement. Client will give us a call back and let us know when they would like to get started on project.
We are replacing current AC system with a 2 ton vertical straight cool. Condenser is up on the roof. Air handler currently sits on a coffin box. Removing coffin box and installing an adjustable stand. Replacing condensate pump, need crane to remove old condenser, and install new condenser on roof. Installing on Wednesday, October 22. Client paid in full by check.
Gave client estimate to replace current AC system. Client is going to be selling condo and needs AC system replaced due to age and system not working. Client move forward with replacement, installing on Tuesday, October 21. Relocating pancake unit in ceiling and converting it to an APT front draw air handler in closet. Need to duct in new supply and connect to old supply, set up electrician to run electrical circuit to new air handler, need to install condensate pump with an electrical outlet. Routing condensation tubing up through ceiling and connect connecting into existing PVC drain line. Condenser is up on roof, need extension ladder and schedule crane. Also need to cut in a 20 x 20 stamp face return grill in the living room, which is on the opposite side of air handler in closet.
Client concerned about stain from condensation on hurricane pad for outdoor unit. Explained to client that this is normal because the systems dehumidifier more and create more condensation. There is nothing to be concerned about.
Performed tuneup on AC system. Cleaned indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain line, checked air filters, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components. Found biological growth buildup inside air handler, there are no indoor or outdoor surge protectors on system, And compressor had high startup amps. Gave client solutions for issues with system, client chose to go with a solution #4 at this time. Installed indoor and outdoor surge protectors and installed hard start kit to reduce compressor start up amps. Cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time.
Client wants a soft start installed on two AC systems. Client supplied materials, emailed client estimate for labor to install two soft starts. Client did not have time to go over estimates today and will review the estimates and get back to us.
Performed tuneup on AC system. Inspected indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain line, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major in minor electrical components. System is running and operating OK at this time.
Replace condenser fan motor, blade, and run capacitor for Trane RTU. Cycled and tested, all operations OK at this time.
Found system operating with high static pressure with a total of .77 system calls for .5 total. Existing plenum front side of ah is 22" x 13 1/4. May need to cut plenum and extend duct board to have enough room to land a 16" duct. Then run new 16" duct to distribution box, tie in existing 12" and add one all new 10" return duct with stamp face grill.
Homeowner just wanted an estimate on a bunch of different things for his AC system. I advised him of everything looked over everything. AC system is working.
Drain line was clogged, which was causing the unit not to kick on cleared out the condensate pump. Make sure the system was working to operation specs. Everything kicked on it is working perfect.
Clogged drain, client states can clear himself. Not interested in enrollment in maintenance plan with free flush.
No cooling on the trane unit. Found bad condenser fan motor and disconnect boxes bypassed. Recommended replacing condenser fan motor and blade and replacing disconnect box. Client just wants to replace the condenser fan motor and blade for now. Ordered parts, parts should be in by Tuesday next week. Client paid 50% deposit and signed up for membership on both RTU‘s
