Hunter and his guy did an incredible job. They were efficient, knowledgeable and their cleanliness was second to none. Once they got the mini split installed and finished cleaning up it looked like it had always been there.

Replace transformer and installed drain guard on upstairs air handler so that the UV light and air purifier work. Installed transformer, UV light, and drain guard on the downstairs system. Cycled and tested, all operations OK at this time.

Performed tuneup on 2 AC systems. Inspected indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain lines, replaced air filters, inspected blower wheels, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components. First floor system has a UV light that is burnt out and the bulb is obsolete, also it has one transformer controlling 2 UV lights and a zone panel. Need to install a 75 VA transformer and replace UV lamp system, upstairs unit has a burnt out transformer for UV lights and air purifier. That transformer is also too small. It needs a 75 VA Transformer as well. Both systems have a lot of sediment buildup in drain line and need in-line drain cleaners. Client approved all recommendations and need to schedule an appointment to come back and do repairs. client paid in full for all repairs. Both systems are operating OK at this time.

Cleaned indoor and outdoor coils, checked air filter, flushed drain line, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components, inspected ductwork. Found biological growth buildup inside ductwork as well as leaks in ductwork, found some biological growth inside air handler, outdoor capacitor was weak, compressor has high startup amps, and there is no surge protector on outdoor unit. Gave client solutions for issues with system. Could not get client approved for financing, client just went with Band-Aid solution for now. Replaced outdoor capacitor. Cycle and tested system, all operations OK at this time.

Compressor has high startup amps and outdoor capacitor is weak. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is 11 years old and recommend replacing due to age and cost of repairs. Client will review options and get back to us.

No cooling, found system off by float, switch being tripped due to clogged drain. Did a complete evaluation of AC system. Found biological growth buildup inside air handler and drain, compressor has high startup amps, and system is low on refrigerant. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is six years old and out of warranty, recommended replacing AC system due to age and cost of repairs. Client decided to go with replacement. Installing a new 4 ton carrier heat pump on Wednesday, October 8. Client paid 50% deposit. Flushed out drain and topped system off with refrigerant to get them cooling for now until we can do the install

Client wanted second opinion on whether or not the blower wheel needs to be cleaned. After further inspection, determine that the blower wheel is impacted and needs to be cleaned. Client approved, pulling and cleaning the blower assembly and got approved for financing. Scheduled pull and clean for a smaller technician to come on Monday, October 6. While removing the blower assembly technician needs to inspect the evaporator coil to see if that needs to be pulled and cleaned as well.

No cooling, found float switch, tripped due to clogged drain. Upon inspection of system found air filter very dirty, blower wheel and evaporator coil are impacted in biological growth, there is no cleanout port on drain line, and a lot of sediment and sludge buildup in drain pan and drain line. Gave client solutions for issues with the system And offered membership. Client chose to go with minimum option. Installed clean out port on drain line and flushed out drain. Tested AC and drain, all operations OK at this time. Left filter out of system due to it being very dirty, informed client that they need to replace air filter ASAP.

System not cooling adequately. Found system low on refrigerant. Performed electronic leak search and soap bubble test. Found refrigerant. Leak on top side of filter dryer on body. Recharged with the appropriate amount of refrigerant to get the client cooling for now. Need to return to recover all refrigerant out of system, replace filter dryer and recharge.
