Downstairs system: Performed inspection on 4 ton system. Inspected indoor and outdoor coils, checked temperatures, inspected all major and minor electrical components, checked compressor amps, blower amps, and condenser fan motor amps. This system appears that the compressor was recently replaced and all the biological growth buildup inside the blower cavity Was clean in and around blower, however, the evaporator coil still appears to have some biological growth underneath. The evaporator coil would need to be pulled and cleaned to eliminate all growth buildup. The condenser fan is over amping. Getting 1.25 A while fan is running, the maximum rating is 1.2. That number should be 30 to 40% lower than the maximum reading. The condenser fan motor needs to be replaced. Also, the new compressor has very high startup amps. Getting 125 A on start up and the maximum is supposed to be 117 A. There should’ve been a hard start assist installed with the new compressor so that the amp level would
Performed tuneup on AC system. Inspected indoor and outdoor coils, cleared and flushed drain line, checked air filter, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components. Recommended installing UV light inside air handler to prevent any biological growth buildup, Also recommended indoor and outdoor surge protectors as well as an in-line drain cleaner to remove any sediment buildup in drain line. Client would like to think about these options, however, they did sign up for the annual prime membership. Set up appointment for a plumber to come out and look at replacing a toilet, and also set up an appointment for electrician to give client estimate on running electrical to a future hot tub. Cycled and tested AC, all operations OK at this time.

Technician: Josh S Phone #: 980-829-5627 Discussed replacement of 3.5T Gas Furnace. Client wishes to discuss with spouse.
She had questions about why Titko raised her electric bill and what the cost difference was with a higher efficiency system, but there’s nothing I can do the system take or raise the rates on the kilowatt usage which made her Bill be a lot higher than what she’s expecting
Shut up to do a diagnostic on the system went through both systems. First system is a train 2000 1518 zero unit run cap was 39 over4 on the capacitor. It calls for 50 over five that I advise the homeowner that it is weak he is aware of that situation. I would recommend a run cap and a hard start for that system to improve the quality of that machine and it’s life. Second system is a carrier run cap was 27 over4.96 MFD run cap on that system is 30 over five to improve the quality of that machine. I recommend a hard start systems are both operating. I did advise though that run cap once it becomes weak enough it won’t allow the compressor to kick on for the train system. Homeowner is aware gave him five different quotes on Repair repairs versus replaced the system. Homeowner needs to talk to his wife and he’ll get back to us on that end paid 135 for the diagnostic today.
