For a system that is only 2 years old, it's very disappointing to have one problem after another. And now, another $2,000. $700 for a ultraviolet light? Our condensation drain was blocked and apparently had been this way for a while due to the amount of water. I contacted Mason Air Conditioning and Heating based on a recommendation from NextDoor and we were not disappointed. The ladies in the office were caring, attentive and helpful. I even had to contact them on Sunday and the technician who tried to help me with the issue until they could come out on Monday. The technician Tory arrived on time Monday, was very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. When we received the bill we were pleasantly surprised! I would 100% recommend this company and we will use them in the future!

I called Mason Air Conditioning on Wednesday (4/17/24) about no a/c. They not only came out the same day but there was no service charge! They were able to get the parts and were back two days later and did the installation. In less than two hours the system was working and cooling our home! The technician, Michael Stevenson, was great. Mason sent him and another tech to ensure the installation went quickly because we were having guests arrive in the late afternoon. Mason might not be the least expensive but their Customer Service is outstanding!! Thanks again to everyone on the Mason Air Conditioning team!!

Performed tuneup on AC system. Cleaned indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain line, checked air filter, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components. Recommend installing air purifier to help with allergies and eliminate odors in home. Also outdoor capacitor was weak, compressor had high startup amps, and there was no surge protector on outdoor unit. Got approval from client to replace outdoor capacitor, install hard start kit to reduce compressor startup amps, and install a surge protector on condenser. Cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time.
Task Includes -Installation of (2) 2.5 Ton LG Inverter Heat Pumps -Installation of all new upstairs supply air ducting -Installation of all new upstairs return ducting -Installation of new supply air plenums -Installation of (2) lighted whisper quite exhaust fans -Installation of (1) non lighted whisper quite exhaust fan -12 year parts 12 year system replacement 1 year labor warranty -Strapping and sealing all ductwork to code requirements -Installation of (2) DTK-KG2 voltage and surge protectors

Upon arrival unit was not running. Homeowner kept stating that it was the thermostat so what I did was bypass the thermostat to see if it was a bad thermostat upon further inspection. It was not a bad thermostat. It’s a clogged drain line and secondary pan is also full has an impacted Evaporator coil. Check the run cap checked everything that I could gave the homeowner options on how to fix the issue homeowner doesn’t want to move forward with anything until she has a second opinion from Cool today that she has a membership with that will be out tomorrow.

Came out because a mold company recommended having a HVAC contractor come out and look over the inside of the machine and make sure all the ducks are dirty. If you’re checking over everything found a bunch of growth inside of the machine and all over the house the machine is undersized for that size condo. The homeowner is going to get a professionally cleaned out of by the mold company and then would like to get an upgrade of the. .
