Performed heating maintenance on a 2005 Rheem 80% efficient single stage natural gas furnace 16x25x1 filter is in new condition Pulled flame sensor and cleaned Blower motor capacitor measuring 7.0mfd, rating is 7.5 Blower is very dirty Cleared inducer pressure switch port Performed run test and combustion analysis Furnace is overheating due to the dirty blower and shutting down on the high temperature limit Combustion test readings are healthy In an attempt to stop the high limit trips, increased blower speed to high and decreased gas pressure (2.3"wc, spec is 3.5") Run time is longer but still hits the high limit after 6 minutes of run time **Strongly recommend the blower cleaning we quoted** No safety concerns with the furnace, but it is not running at manufacturer's specifications due to the dirty blower Furnace may not be able to keep up on extremely cold days
