Performed heating maintenance on a 2019 Carrier two stage 96% efficient natural gas furnace **20x25x4 filter needs replaced** Please use Honeywell brand MERV8 filters Other brands don't fit the cabinet perfectly and will allow the system to get dirty Replaced humidifier water panel (part number aprilaire #35) and opened bypass damper Had to clear a blockage on the humidifier water line Humidifier functioning properly and free of water leaks Changed humidifier settings on the thermostat to humidifier only with a call for heat to save water Removed flame sensor and cleaned High fire gas pressure set to 3.2"wc Temperature rise 52⁰ (spec 40-70⁰) Low fire gas pressure set to 1.3" Temperature rise 41⁰ (spec 30-60⁰) Furnace is in good shape and operating within factory specifications at this time
Gas heating preventative maintenance performed Check filter - 20x25x1 new today Clean flame sensor Ohm test igniter: 50 ohms Inspect wiring for loose connections and/or hot spots - none found Check humidifier pad: n/a Inspect exhaust flu - no concerns Set thermostat for heat Check amp draw on blower motor: 5.6 Check amp draw on inducer motor:2.3 Check delta T - 69° Furnace is in optimal running conditions
Unable to pinpoint leak so water is turned off go humidifier. Inspection of humidifier shows that the humidifier is in very poor condition. It appears that one of the high voltage leads has burnt off and damaged other parts of the humidifier including internal waterlines, and metal housing. Will need to talk with office and Aprilaire about repairs or replacement possibility. Photos uploaded to file to assist with further research.
Preventative maintenence inspection on two Carrier high efficiency furnaces. Both air filters in good condition. Basment system humidifier pad in good condition. Clean flame sensors and check ignitors. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation traps and drain lines. Run test each system in heating mode. Temperature rise is within specs for both. Blower and inducer motors tested good. Pvc flue vents in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Both systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Preventative maintenence inspection on 2016 Carrier high efficiency furnace running in good condition. 20x25x1 air filter in good condition. Clean flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Humidifier damper is open, pad in good condition. Tested humidifier duringnheating test. Test ran furnace in heating mode from thermostat and zone panel. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good. 3" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Furnace has staining on inside and outside, but components are clean and not damaged. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
After thermostat was replaced unit was stuck with only cooling from heat pump. Reversing valve got constant power while heating or cooling. After diagnosing thermostat and controls, found wiring from thermostat to furnace was shorted. Switched orange for stat to pink and problem was resolved.

Per Geno, PO-561JV-117 - VPO - Furnace Filters Chris Meyer dropped off 4 filters.
Preventative maintenence inspection on two Bryant units, one gas furnace and one air handler system. Both systems have new air filters. Basement system cleaned flame sensor and checked ignitor. Visual inspection of burnersL . Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Confirmed proper wiring for humidifier and test ran from thermostat. Test ran heating mode from thermostat. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good. 3" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Second floor air handler system, installed and programmed new thermostat. Test ran operation of electric heat strips. All strips are operating properly. Blower motor is operating properly. Test ran in heat pump heating. Did not check refrigerant as there are no issues suspected. All systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Blower speeds for high fire were set down on 8 instead of the required speed 10. Set gas pressure and make sure system is properly operational. No further concerns at this time
Preventative maintenence inspection on 2021 Carrier high efficiency furnace. System is operating in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter is in good condition. Left nee filter on top of filter rack. Cleaned flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Humidifier damper is open, pad in good condition, tested operation. Test ran furnace in heating mode. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good. 3" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. All components are operating properly and within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter. Prepared two quotes. One for the April Aire E100 dehumidifier, and one for the E130 dehumidifier. The E100 is rated for 5,500sq ft.
Upon arrival inspected furnace and found unit locked out on NO RPM. inspected motor and had no operation with power. Quote replacement motor. Replaced motor and test ran system, unit heating as should no concerns post repairs. PO# CW11272 cedar
Upon arrival, inducer motor was very hot and siezed up. Disassembled to inspect blower motor. Found a bit of material in birds nest to be inside of the inducer motor. Also found that inducer motor had a bit of water damage on it. Disassembled inducer motor and cleaned and oiled it. Installed 2" intake drainctrap that should habe been installed when the last inducer motor failed. Test ran unit in heating and found not other issues at this time.
Sump pump battery failed and exploded setting off CO detector due to chemicals in the air. Gas company was unsure of original source and wanted furnace inspected, but upon second inspection due to alarm sounding with the furnace off they discovered the sump pump battery. Gas heating preventative maintenance performed Check filter - 20x25x1 9/8/25 Clean flame sensor Ohm test igniter: 56.8 Inspect wiring for loose connections and/or hot spots - none found Check humidifier pad: N/A Inspect exhaust flu - no concerns - burn marks from torches on install removed.
