Humidifier damper is closed. Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 20F with supply temp of 49F. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. High 235psi with 12F SC, low 110psi with 9F SH. Outdoor coils are in clean condition. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer.
No power to the outside unit Found breaker in the tripped off position that looked like it was in the on position. After turning off and back on the breaker reset normal and the system runs normal Cooling mode dropped to 50° supply temperature with 240 volts pulling 9 amps. Refrigerant suction pressure is normal at 112psi. 45/5 power supply is perfect and starting relay is like new All equipment is running in normal condition at this time Thermal scan of breaker box shows normal heat on the AC breaker after 10 minutes of running time Possible power surge or brown out causing the tripped breaker Recommend homeowners consult with electricians if problem persists. Combination of cracked drain pipe and condensation on outside of drain line. Repaired cracked drain line and instructed Lacey that due to higher humidity in the basement, and to cooler temp of the drain line, condensation can occur until the indoor humidity got lower and the dehumidifier did not run as long.
Discovered broken spade connector for capacitor causing unit to not run, repair wiring and test run everything back up and operating at this time

Showed homeowner how to clean filters, and how to control minisplit with controller. Informed them the unit will not respond unless controller is aimed at the wall unit. It will beep when it responds to the adjustments.

In depth diagnosis on April Aire E100 dehumidifier. After talking with with April Aire and running multiple tests, April Aire has deemed the unit inoperable and will be replaced with new unit under warranty. Labor for replacement is not covered under warranty. Westin Air will need to create a quote for labor costs for replacement.
