After inspection of the thermistor at the ground loop water line the thermistor failed completely. -suction line thermistor is malfunctioning by reading 10 to 15° higher than the actual temperature. 96psi suction is reading 45°f but should be 31 or

Upon arrival today the equipment in the house basement was in hard lock out on low pressure refrigerant switch. After cycling low voltage power and run testing the equipment the system is confirmed to be very low on refrigerant and short cycling at 35 PSI within 30 seconds of startup. Ultraviolet dye is already in the system and is highly visible throughout the entire lower cabinet of the package geothermal equipment. Wet oil dye has saturated the base of the cabinet and can be traced up to the reversing valve and discharge line service port. Dampness with very minimal die is also visible around the suction line service port and the refrigerant filter dryer. Furnace was throwing inducer fault codes. Checked intake and exhaust pipes. Finally found condensate was clogged and filling the secondary heat exchanger with water. Ran combustion test and set gas pressure. System operating normally and within nominal ratings.

Dammage assessment on air conditioner condenser unit outside on wall brackton 2022 Carrier 3 ton bumped by mechanical equipment large enough to shear off the wall bracket screws attaching the condenser to the wall bracket. Minor surface damage to the air conditioner should not affect any operation or efficiency of the equipment. The aluminum cooling fins smashed are in a non-functional location R410A refrigerant pressure is holding 84 PSI at 21°f outdoor temperature. Correct running temperatures and pressures cannot be verified until outdoor temps are 70° f Reattach original vibration dampeners with new larger sheet metal screws in the same exact location as originally installed. Unfortunately the wall brackets were attached to the wall too close to each other for this unit and proper weight distribution does not allow a perfectly parallel installation Recommend homeowner locate color matching paint or clear coat to prevent rust on the painted metal surface
Reznor system in closet is the condemned unit due to heat exchanger failure. Hawt Dawg heater by double door is unit that is not functioning. Found thermostat to be in off mode and gas supply to unit was shut off. Opened gas shutoff and turned thermostat to heating. System came on and fired off in heating as it should. System is operating properly at this time.
