I called on a Wed afternoon and booked the first available appointment - Fri a.m. Was called Thu morning and offered a cancellation slot later Thu morning, which I really appreciated (snow in the forecast Thu eve ... might have cooled off inside.) Received a call around 30 min before Seth arrived. Seth was right on time, and was very professional and pleasant. He was able to restart the furnace almost immediately, but he still took the time to check for any possible sources of the failure, and he patiently explained a lot to me about how the unit functioned. While he wasn't able to discover why the furnace quit working, I felt confident he'd done a thorough check. He also took the time to talk to me about my concerns about a whole-house humidifier that had been installed by the another service provider. I would not hesitate to work with Westin, or Seth, in the future.

Old horizontal York 80% furnace above the ceiling. Blower door was not on correctly, blower door switch was not pushed closed to energize the furnace Reinstalled doors, furnace operating normally at this time.
Preventative maintenence inspection on 2019 Carrier high efficiency furnace. System is operating in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter in good condition. Clean flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Humidifier pad in new condition and opened damper. Test run system in heating mode from thermostat. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good. Pvc flue vents in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Perform preventative maintenence inspection on two Carrier high efficiency gas furnaces running in new condition. Both air filters are in clean condition. Clean flame sensors and check ignitors. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation traps and drain lines. Basement system humidifier wiring altered for better control with thermostat. Humidifier pad in good condition. Test ran each furnace in heating mode from thermostats. Both systems are operating properly and within specs for temperature rise, blower and inducer motor specifications, and gas pressures. Pvc flue vents are in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. All systems are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.

Upon arrival inspected system and found unit with seized inducer motor. Remove motor from furnace and free by hand per homeowner request attempting to resolve issue without replacing parts, inducer motor freed up and started spinning again and was not making any bad noises after getting it back running. Only found small chunks of debris inside housing no suspected damaged. Unit heating properly post repairs.

Construction warranty. Pipe fitting came apart. Cut section out and replace with new section to ensure proper length.
