I called on a Wed afternoon and booked the first available appointment - Fri a.m. Was called Thu morning and offered a cancellation slot later Thu morning, which I really appreciated (snow in the forecast Thu eve ... might have cooled off inside.) Received a call around 30 min before Seth arrived. Seth was right on time, and was very professional and pleasant. He was able to restart the furnace almost immediately, but he still took the time to check for any possible sources of the failure, and he patiently explained a lot to me about how the unit functioned. While he wasn't able to discover why the furnace quit working, I felt confident he'd done a thorough check. He also took the time to talk to me about my concerns about a whole-house humidifier that had been installed by the another service provider. I would not hesitate to work with Westin, or Seth, in the future.

Performed cooling maintenance on a Carrier single stage air conditioner. Closed humidifier bypass damper Checked furnace for any signs of water leaks from the heating season- no concerns Filter is good. Left one of our filters next to the furnace. Tested capacitor under load: measurements 43.4/5.1mfd 18⁰ drop across evaporator coil Refrigerant charge is good: 112/257psig 6⁰ superheat and 7⁰ subcool Tore down and washed Condenser. Reassembled and re-energized to verify correct operation for departure. Returned thermostat to desired settings. System is operating within factory specifications at this time.
Preventative maintenence inspection on 2022 Carrier AC. System is operating in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter is new today. Visual inspection of indoor coil. Flush drain pan and drain lines. Humidifier damper shut and humidistat turned to off. Run test unit in cooling mode from thermostat. Delta t of 21F with supply temp of 46F. Refrigerant pressures are within spec. High 235psi with 9F SC, low 100psi with 7F SH. Water flush outdoor coils to remove debris. Dual run capacitor is within spec. Outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating within specs. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Summer.

Performed cooling maintenance Single stage trane system. Put drain treatment tablets in the coil pan to prevent drain backups System was a little low on refrigerant. Topped off with a few ounces of R410a to get the specified 10⁰ of liquid line subcooling. System is clean and running within factory specification at this time.
