My heat went out on a very cold weekend. I got 3 estimates and Westin was the most accurate and least expensive. The other 2 told me I needed a whole new system for $9500- 10,5000. All I needed was a part replaced. Westin was quick to respond and very friendly. I wouldn’t consider calling anyone else in the future and I’ve already recommended them to my friends and co-workers.

Westin Air quoted and replaced the entire HVAC system in a previous home where we were tenants. They were professional, fair, thorough and timely, so when I needed work done on the AC in the home we just purchased, they were the first company I called. Seth was dispatched to our home quickly and gave me an honest assessment of the issue along with all the available repair options. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Installation was completed as scheduled. The guys were courteous, prompt and professional. They completed on time, and the quality of their work was outstanding, testing all installed components to ensure 100% functionality. They took extra time to review operations of all components with us, and answered questions. Each of them were highly respectful, and we would recommend their team any time.

When the inspector found a small (not dangerous) gas leak, a technician was out to fix it the next day. When we called because our furnace wasn't set up to use two-stage heat at installation, a technician came the same day to fix the issue.

Workers seemed like pretty good guys, always friendly. Willing to talk through the system and install with you if you had questions. If they didn't know the answer they would tell you, rather than make something up. I had a lot done to my house and it was over the holidays but I'd say they still made good time considering those conditions. Only been running my geo about a week but so far I'm pleased. Takes a lot for me to give 5 stars but they are up there.

Upon arrival thermostat was reading no power from hvac equipment. Inspection of furnace showed that it was not on. Checked to make sure breaker and service disconnect were on. Took off bottom door and inspected for any loose wiring. Manually pressed in the door switch and system came on. Door was not on properly and not depressing the door switch. Put door back on and tested operation. Furnace came on in heating as it should. Gas pressure sounded high. Checked gas pressure and it was at 3.8inwc. Set to 3.2inwc to ensure system does not overheat. After installing the top door back on, the system ran for approximately 20-30 seconds before being snuffed out. Inspected outdoor termination for concentric vent and found thatca grill was blocking the vent and causing recirculation. Moved grill and test ran system again. No other issues found or suspected during test runs. Pvc flue vents are installed properly, and pvc drain line is installed correctly to the adjacent drain setup.

Unit was replaced recently by us. Installers accidentally left common wire for humidifier on W1 forcing furnace to run constantly. Repaired mistake and test ran system. No further concerns, gas pressure properly and AC blower speed set properly.
Upon arrival inspected unit and found furnace was overheating on E09, no specific causes for overheating aside from the gas pressure at 2.0 on low 3.7 high set pressures down to 1.5 low and 3.2 low and adjust blower speeds on system to assist with allowing heat to escape the burner compartment. Previous invoice disappeared, upon last visit found blower limit was unplugged at the housing inside unit from different company replacing the motor. Test ran system and heat was operational after adjustments were made but system had been still overheating.
ductwork assessment, adjustment or an air balance
Furnace issues from previous visit likely caused from intake air allowing hot humid air into the furnace while it is moving cool air through the house and that temperature mixture is likely what caused the super bad rust issue and inducer to lock up. Advised homeowner possible remediation would be removing fresh air intake and instead pulling intake from basement to go around the condensation source. Homeowner is possibly interested in revisiting remediation plans come spring time. Could install stainless steel burners or could just change over to 1 pipe.
