My heat went out on a very cold weekend. I got 3 estimates and Westin was the most accurate and least expensive. The other 2 told me I needed a whole new system for $9500- 10,5000. All I needed was a part replaced. Westin was quick to respond and very friendly. I wouldn’t consider calling anyone else in the future and I’ve already recommended them to my friends and co-workers.

When the inspector found a small (not dangerous) gas leak, a technician was out to fix it the next day. When we called because our furnace wasn't set up to use two-stage heat at installation, a technician came the same day to fix the issue.

Workers seemed like pretty good guys, always friendly. Willing to talk through the system and install with you if you had questions. If they didn't know the answer they would tell you, rather than make something up. I had a lot done to my house and it was over the holidays but I'd say they still made good time considering those conditions. Only been running my geo about a week but so far I'm pleased. Takes a lot for me to give 5 stars but they are up there.

RTU 2 Upon arrival, the internal breaker was off, and the disconnect for the RTU was off. With both breakers turned on, there is no power being supplied to the unit. Must call an electrician for electrical diagnosis. Once power is supplied to the unit, it is not guaranteed that the unit will operate due to no tests being able to be performed today.

Clean flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Helen mentioned a noise when starting up. Duringntest run, nothing unusual was heard. Noise that is being heard is the exhaust motor and is operating normally. Test ran in heating mode from thermostat. Temperature rise is within specs. Blower and inducer motors tested good. Galvanized B-vent is in good condition with no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. System is operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter.
Upon arrival inspected system and found blower motor not operational as stated from homeowner. Inspected blower and unit getting power but not coming on. ECM motor is bad and needs replaced. GeoCool/mrcool geothermal support was unavailable when I called.

Upon arrival, both main breaker panel and internal disconnect breaker were tripped. Turned thermostat off and attempted to reset power. Both breakers go back on with no trips and ther is 208V to the system. First tried to test run fan only, and found that the blower will not kick on. Blower relay clicks and is supplying motor with proper voltage, but no operation. Blower motor has failed and will need replaced. Suspect that blower motor shorted internally leading to breakers tripping and has completely internally failed leading to no breakers tripping even when power is supplied. Quote for blower motor replacement will be made and sent over Friday, January 2nd, sometime in the morning.
Upon arrival inspected system and found unit in E09 cycle. Each time unit started it would stop running due to E09. Inspected all limits and switches and found no errors on switches, aside from condensate switch tripped while running. Hookup manometer to condensate and monitor never changing from 0.8. Unit will not fault after inspecting pressure switch. Believe water was in switch faulting pressure switch or switch itself may be on the way out becoming faulty. Unit running fine at this time post inspection.
