Preventative maintenence inspection on 2022 Carrier two stage high efficiency furnace running in great condition. 20x25x4 air filter in new condition. #35 humidifier pad is new today. Clean flame sensor and check ignitor. Visual inspection of burners. Flush condensation trap and drain lines. Test I-wave operation. Test ran furnace in heating mode. Temperature rise is within specs for both stages. Blower motor and inducer motor running within spec. 3" pvc flue in good condition and no sign of leaks. 0PPM CO detected during testing. Test3d operation of humidifier during heating test. Furnace, humidifier, and I-wave are operating properly, efficiently and ready for Winter. After preventative maintenence inspection was performed, there was a gas leak found on the gas manifold on the wall near the furnace. Leak was initially found audibly, and pinpointed with leak detector gel. Gas has been shutoff to prevent further leaks, and a plumber will need to be called to perform repairs.
