Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) replaced a leaking 40-gallon electric State Scout water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-M2-RH95-B model (this included removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, wiring the water heater's electrical connections, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature); and 2) replaced a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) at the water meter (attaching it to the existing black roll outside main water supply line with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve) with a new Zurn NR3XLDUPEX model due to high water pressure in the home (150+ PSI).
