Pride Plumbing was called out for an American Standard toilet bowl leaking at its base and a water leak at a reverse osmosis (RO) water filter system in the basement. For the toilet, after pulling it, we found that its flange was too low in the floor and hadn't been raised when new flooring had been put down. We installed a new BruCo CF300 closet flange extension kit and applied silicone to the spacers. We reset the toilet with new toilet bolts and two new wax ring gaskets and tested for leaks with no further issues. For the water leak, we cut out the leaking section of pipe and repaired it with new PEX piping and fittings.
