Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to perform the following work: 1) install a new black roll and PEX main water supply line from a well to the church (this would include trenching in the new water line, installing the piping and tracer wire, connecting the new water line to the well and an existing water line under the church in the crawlspace, installing a main water shut-off valve under the church in the crawlspace, installing a new thermal expansion tank on the main water line under the house in the crawlspace per code, and backfilling and tamping the ditch after the work is completed); and 2) install a new yard hydrant (this would require us to trench a second ditch off the new main water supply line, install the new yard hydrant and PEX piping going to it; connect the PEX piping to the existing outside main water supply line, pour pea gravel around the new yard hydrant, cover the pea gravel with new cement, and cover and tamp the new water line).
