Retuned to our clients home to address uneven temperature throughout the home. We were able to coordinate the visit with Brenda and she gave us data to help understand the airflow concerns she was experiencing. We first proceeded to ensure that both damper motors were working properly. Once we confirmed that both damper motors were working properly we proceeded to test and measure airflow for the upstairs zone only first. I had Brenda follow me while Mathew adjusted the dampers from the attic. We immediately identified that the large supply vent directly over the second story rafters was pushing a significant amount of air out of it. We were able to damper this down and ensure other bedrooms for the upstairs zone were more evenly dispersed. We made all of the adjustments to Brenda’s satisfaction upstairs before pending the downstairs zone. When we ran both zones she measured how much the airflow was reduced.
