Assessed no heat situation. Equipment is 75,000 BTU standard efficiency gas boiler with standing pilot gas valve. Found circulator pump cavitation. Boiler is at 4 psi operating pressure and is air bound. The bypass of pressure reducing valve has failed and there is no way to fill boiler. Expansion tank and automatic air vent are failed. Left estimate for necessary repairs. 1. Replace fill valve, expansion tank and pressure reducing valve. 2. Cut in Supervent air eliminator (expansion tank will be installed here) 3. Replace circulator pump and flanges 4. Fill and purge boiler 1 zone 5. Clean heat exchanger. Left power shut off too the boiler as circulator pump is cavitation g severely. I would not invest any money in this boiler. Strongly recommend upgrading boiler. Quotes for system replacement are free. Also inspected the other boiler 100,000 BTU natural gas standard efficiency.
