After taking to homeowner about water leak issue, found that the lines were also icing up. Gave system a call for cooling. Found that I was only getting a 10 degree split at indoor coil. Checked refrigerant pressures and found system to be about 2 lbs low. Gave homeowner options to ethier add refrigerant with leak dye or to replace the a/c part of the system. Homeowner wanted to just add refrigerant at this time. Explained to him that we don’t know the rate of leak and how long the charge will last. Added 2lbs of r410 a and leak dye to the system. Pressures are now 259/123 with 6 degrees of subcooling. Delta t is 21 degrees at indoor coil. System is working fine at time of service.
