Today we visited to evaluate the existing air-conditioning system. The unit is not cooling and historically has not done a good job when it is hot outside. We learned the system has a refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil and one of the solder joints near the filter dryer. We also discovered, after performing a heat load, that the existing 2 ton system is undersized and should be a 2.5 ton system. James put together two replacement options for Martin and informally texted them to him.
