Came out to perform preventative maintenance on furnace. Discussed with customer about maintenance being provided, filters, and if they had any issues with the system. Customer hasn’t had any problems with the unit as of lately. I changed the filters located in furnace cabinet. Inspected blower assembly, motor, capacitor, electrical components in blower compartment, heat exchanger, burners, flame sensor, ignitor, gas valve, inducer motor, pressure switch and overall condition of equipment. Found the system to be fair condition. Blower assembly was overdue to be cleaned, and ignitor is reading close to resistance limit. Heat exchanger is still holding up, but is showing signs of heat stress. Discussed with customer about recommendations, and what I believe customer would benefit from. Customer and I discussed pricing and agreed to have the blower cleaned. I pulled the blower assembly and cleaned it thoroughly. Reinstalled the blower assembly and continued with service.
