We returned from extended travel to find 'no hot water' at our house. Called Townsend at 9:30pm to describe the situation, asked them to check on it the following day. Next morning, shortly after 7AM, Townsend technician arrived, diagnosed the problem, repaired by replacing a defective control module. Hot water was available by 9am. Townsend Technician, 'Vinnie', was prompt, professional, and friendly; explained the situation and made sure our hot water was hot to our satisfaction. I have been a loyal Townsend customer for 20 years; the excellent service provided by Townsend, as described herein, is why.

We are shifting to our own propane tank and trying to use up fully existing supply. Townsend has provided support for this exercise responding with timely assistance as the supply grows short with service support on short notice. Townsend has saved the day and is offering the best price.

Brian is excellent, he saved the day for us. He clearly is extremely conscientious and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the back office left us waiting for nine hours. We don’t mind the wait so much as the fact that nobody ever let us now and in fact we were told several times that a technician would be there really soon.

We are new to being oil and propane customers thanks to our recent purchase of an old house. Bill Geary was so helpful explaining the pros and cons of each as we are about to undergo major renovations to our early 1900 home. Bill also was so helpful in providing quick turn around to meet with us to inspect our oil tank for a quick oil delivery (hopefully) for an almost empty oil tank. I highly recommend Townsend (so far) as my conversation. On the phone with customer service was very pleasant and with Bill was as well and informative!

Tested combustion to factory specifications, gas leak checked connections from outside tanks and piping to inside unit.. gas inlet, static pressure tested in required range.
