Google Nest thermostat is not properly controlling the humidifier. Confirmed proper wiring and that humidifier shuts off when furnace is powered off. This eliminates the possibility of tne wiring, or humidifier solenoid valve being the issue. Thermostat is powering humidifier when humidity is satisfied. Humidity set point of 45% and thermostat is still powering humidifier when it is reading 48%. Thermostat will need replaced. Japinder will replace the thermostat himself. Westin Air recommends Fresh Air Corps for duct work cleaning.
