Initial test run of furnace shows that when there is a call for heat, the inducer motor kicks on, after a few seconds, the igniter glows, but only for a second before the control board "resets." Igniter turns off and inducer motor shuts off for a few seconds before coming on again. Initialy thought it was a bad igniter, so tested a new igniter with no change in sequence of operation. During initial testing also noticed that the gas valve did not seem to come on. Tested for 24v at gas valve during start up. During test with gas valve unplugged, there was 24v present when gas valve should be opened. Noticed that with gas valve unplugged, the control board did not "reset," but showed a code for no flame present. Tested wiring with new gas valve in hand. During fire off, the new gas valve received the 24v call and opened as it should. This confirms the gas valve has an internal electrical malfunction and must be replaced. Replaced faulty gas valve with new gas valve. Sealed all joints that
