Upon arrival inspected system and found unit was heating at 27° rise on electric heat. Inspected heat strips and each pulling 16-18 amps and no errors with limits or anything. Air conditioner only outside so unit runs off electric heat only. Unit not satisfying demand Tenant stated unit has always ran constantly for heat and not quite satisfied. Quote replacement unit inside and outside, Pat requested we quote a heat pump and evap coil only for the basement to fit it in the newer air handler case. If coil cannot be sourced to fit in case then quote full air handler heat pump replacement.
