Arrived onsite and the resident led us to the back deck where he showed us the back to back gfci we installed for him about 2 years ago. He had run his own uf line down to the gazebo to get power to that, and as of now it plugs into the gfci that is the back to back setup. Problem i found with that is it’s only a 15 amp circuit, and his goal was to power anything used at the gazebo with that plug. Upon opening the plug on the house, and at the gazebo, both had heat damage to the wiring tips and the gfci’s at both locations had significant heat damage and warping on the back of them. We discussed how to correct what is currently here which would involve replacing the GFCI outlet on the house and at the gazebo location, and the in use covers for both. But as a long term solution, running a dedicated line from the panel, because he wants to have power to the gazebo as a feature when the house is sold, and for convenience of use.
