Trustworthy, Communicative, Detailed, and Careful

Nick and Alex were consummate professionals and extremely friendly. They provided us with the technical knowledge about the damage that occurred, what was needed to repair the damage, and identified further work that was needed to make our home code-compliant and to strengthen our protection against power surges--something that a competing electrical company did not do. We felt that they were honest and detailed and that they cared enough about our home to figure out alternatives that would cause the least amount of damage to implement the repair solution.

Expert service in every way

Hello, Mr. Michael Wendler visited my house to install a 20A ground-fault-protected circuit in my garage, as well as a surge-protection system for my entire house. Michael did a wonderful job and was very good at explaining everything he did along the way. I had many questions (I am a retired scientist), and Michael displayed great patience going everything thoughtfully until I had all the information I needed. He is a terrific representative for Haas & Sons, and I am certain you are glad to have him. For future electrical work, I will be calling Haas & Sons and asking for Michael. Thank you, Malcolm Niedner

Arrived onsite and the resident had a foyer light she had purchased to replace her current 2 story foyer light. Cole brought out the ladder and me and him worked together on that while Brendon replaced both outdoor lights and installed the new WR gfci and in use cover on the front of the home. Once he was wrapped up Brendon came in and the 3 of us worked together make sure all the hanger heights were correct to create the desired pattern as advertised. Although difficult, we got it up and everything set, and then carefully removed the ladder and put it back on Cole’s van. After that Brendon cleaned up while i wrote it up and then we walked through the job and made sure she was happy. While discussing options early on, we also went over the membership which she ended up purchasing today as well. All work is complete and verified working.

Reason for today’s visit with the customer was repairing a burned up receptacle in the kitchen. Upon arrival we inspected the receptacle and noticed the Madison strap holding the box in place had been arcing continuously against the receptacle causing it to fail. On the same circuit is the fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. All kitchen circuits had no GFCI protection. Devices are also original to the home. Upon inspection of the panel we observed a hazardous condition panel. Rust inside, overheating on the wires, as well as mismatched breakers that fail to trip properly. Our assumption is that the mismatched breakers failed to trip while the Madison strap was arcing. Additionally, the photovoltaic system was in hazardous condition as the line for the photovoltaic system was overheating. The customer has a HVAC unit in front of the meter so that must be moved in order to accommodate a new panel. Additionally, the main water is across the basement and currently broken needing repair. We were called out today to give solutions for installing recess lights in the living room in a condo. We determined that we would install six, 6 inch recess lights in the living room, controlled by a dimmer switch. While on site, the customer also requested solutions for installing recess lights in the bedroom and replacing fans and fixtures with surface mounted lights throughout the home. We determined that four, 6 inch would be enough for the bedroom, and gave a solution to replace 6 fixtures throughout the home. We are also providing a solution to install 46 inch recessed lights in the office as well. All three sets of the recessed lights will be controlled by switches at existing switch locations. We will need to convert to switch control receptacles to constantly live while doing so. Customer will be purchasing the kitchen fixture, dining room, fixture, kitchenette, fixture, and the main bedroom closet fixture. Haas & Sons is not responsible for drywall wall

Installation of new 3-way switch and keyless light fixture for the kitchen. Current fixture was damaged and no longer had power inside of box. Current light in kitchen is hanging and is temporary until home owner decides on a new fan/fan mount. Three way switch located closest to bathroom is currently cracked causing another power loss issue with the keyless as well.

We will re-device the kitchen. We will replace the front and back receptacle with weatherproof receptacles and install inuse covers Reason for today’s visit was to assess power loss to the front receptacle as well as intermittent power loss in the kitchen receptacle next to the refrigerator. Upon inspection I found that the outlets were all original to the build of a home. These devices were installed in 1987 and were backstabbed only. I found out the wires are beginning to pop out of the back of the devices and we’re not pigtailed. I recommended having the devices all replaced to fix power loss issue as well as to avoid future power loss. Today we removed all the devices in the kitchen which included six receptacles and four switches. As they were currently no GFCI protection in the kitchen I installed two new GFCI‘s to protect all the kitchen countertop outlets. I also replaced the kitchen light switch, The dining room light switch, the undercabinet light switch and the disposal swit

We will install a new service cable from the meter to a new point of attachment at the peak of the home. We will need to install a new ground and system to port to bring it up to today’s requirements. We will pull an electrical permit and coordinate county inspections as well as the Power company final time. We are unable to open the panel cover at this time without opening up the wall. If when work is being performed and we find damage or anything that needs to be addressed there will be an additional charge for needed work to be performed.
