Job Checkin

Replace burnt up dimmer The reason for today’s visit was to check power loss to two receptacles, as well as to check a dimmer that was not working properly. First said, she found that the back receptacles in the sunroom area, leading to the back deck are protected by the GFCI that feeds the back porch. GFCI was tripped and just needed to be reset. It would appear that the customer had taken the cover off of the GFCI, which allowed water to get into it. We reset the GFCI and put the cover back on GFCI was in good condition. The dimmer for the kitchen was a newer style LED dimmer that had just stopped working. We went ahead and replaced it with a new one. While inspecting the main panel, we noticed that it was not the original panel to the Home and had multiples of the old breakers from the old Westinghouse panel. That was originally there are still in the new panel. We would recommend replacing these older style breakers with the proper Eaton BR style breakers.
