Pride Plumbing came out and rebuilt, tested, and recertified an Apollo RPL4FA reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow that had previously failed inspection. After shutting off the water, we removed and replaced the unit's cap, relief valve, check valve #1, check valve #2, and all rubber O-rings and gaskets. Once they were all replaced and lubricated, we reassembled the backflow, turned the water back on, and checked for leaks. We tested the RPZ assembly, and it passed inspection. Pride Plumbing filed the appropriate certification paperwork with Stanly County.
