Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard, coming from a well. Our tests and thorough inspection could not find any plumbing causes for the water in the yard. It is our belief that it's just where the yard is collecting water and not a pipe leaking.
Pride Plumbing came out and 1) installed a new submersible well pump assembly (this included installing the pump, black roll piping, torque arrester, wiring, pressure tank, tank tee, well seal, 30/50 pressure switch and gauge, and charging the well tank); 2) trenched a ditch for a new black roll and PEX main water supply line from the well to the home (this included installing the pipe, fittings, and tracer wire, connecting the new water line to the well and a water line connection underneath the home, and installing a main water shut-off valve underneath the home); and 3) trenched a second ditch from the house to the septic tank; installed tracer wire and a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line underneath the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; sealed the septic tank penetration, and backfilled and tamped both ditches and spread grass seed and straw after the work had been completed.

We removed the unit's burner assembly, cleaned its thermocoupling, and reestablished a spark. When we reinserted the burner assembly and attempted to relight the water heater, we discovered that the unit's AP14269E-1 gas valve was defective. We provided a cost estimate to replace it.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a possible water leak at an Enviro-Temp water heater. Our inspection found that the water heater's temperature was turned up too high which had caused steam to leak out of the unit's T&P valve and onto the floor. We showed the customer how to turn the unit's temperature down. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from an existing water meter to the building and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
