Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) cut and cap existing 3/8-inch hot and cold washer connections, relocate them approximately 10 feet, and convert them to 1/2-inch PEX; 2) install a yard hydrant in the yard (this would require us to dig a trench from the water meter to the hydrant’s location, install the new yard hydrant and PEX piping going to it; connect the PEX piping to the existing outside main water supply line, pour pea gravel around the new yard hydrant, cover the pea gravel with new cement, and cover and tamp the new water line's trench); 3) install a refrigerator's ice maker water supply line and shutoff with new PEX piping and fittings and tie-in to the existing main water line underneath the home; and 4) install an S-trap on the kitchen sink's drain line.
