I performed a tune up on 1 of the 2 systems. The systems are from 2020 and under a 10 year parts warranty. I checked the downstairs. The system has a u/v light in the evaporator coil, ss1 float switch, and ss3 float switch. I found that the unit does not have a good temperature drop. After further investigation, I found that the system is having a TXV issue with possible refrigerant contamination. The customer spoke about uncomfortable rooms and I checked for dampers. The system does not have dampers and the duct sizes could not be determined. The outdoor unit is starting with high amps and this leads to damage over time to the compressor. I provided options for a warranty TXV, dampers, and a hard start kit.
